Today I had lunch at Sayde’s Restaurant in Salem, NH.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere just felt right. It has that perfect balance of cozy and lively — warm lighting, the smell of fresh food in the air, and that steady hum of conversation that tells you people are enjoying themselves. They were busy, but we were greeted right away and seated quickly.

The service was top notch. Attentive and very friendly. Water glasses never went empty, food came out quickly, and every recommendation we were given was spot on.

Now the food.

We tried a little bit of everything- Hummus, chicken beef and Kafta Skewers, rice and salad. Oh and thanks to my friends recommendation, we also tried a garlic sauce called Toum, which is almost addictive it’s so good!

You can tell immediately that everything is made with care. The flavors were bold but clean — Just fresh ingredients done the right way.

Everything was warm and fresh. The meats were perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly how they should be. Every bite had depth — you could taste the herbs, the garlic, the lemon, the olive oil. The portions were generous without being sloppy, and everything was plated beautifully.

What stood out most to me was the balance. It’s the kind of meal where you leave full, but not weighed down. Satisfied, not stuffed. That’s hard to do and they nailed it.

You can tell there’s pride in what they’re serving.

If you’re anywhere near Salem, it’s absolutely worth stopping in. Whether it’s lunch with friends, a casual dinner, or bringing family from out of town — this place delivers.

We’ll definitely be back!

Older crowd and really laid back. Definitely a place where locals frequent. Had the Chicken Parm and for bar food it was pretty solid. What’s crazy is it was so basic but it was tasty. They used chicken tenders too which was different but worked.

Bartender was friendly and quick to serve. Drinks are higher in this part of the country. If you enjoy karaoke and great bar food definitely check this place out

We really liked this restaurant, we The food was fresh and tasted really good. I had the falafel, and it was crispy on the outside and soft inside. We also got the fish, which was cooked well and tasted fresh. The chicken sandwich was juicy and had lots of flavor.

I’ll admit this review is a little biased probably. I absolutely love this place. A little bit divy but great food. Great atmosphere! Just an awesome spot right up my alley. Exactly what I’m looking for. Try the steak crab.

The family always makes sure the is food is fantastic and that everyone has a good time there. We ordered two different items off the menu tonight and loved them both! Very tasty beef shawarma and beef & mushrooms over pilaf. Check out the large portion sizes! Jamie makes a delicious hummus, too!

First time going here. Apparently it has been owned (Sayde) and operated by the same family for years. It is a nice local place that serves Lebanese food and American food. Very different from most bars you happen across. The atmosphere is somewhat friendly and plenty of seating for a small place. The food was good but I only ordered the Lebanese food. Wanted to try something different and I had no regrets. It seems that there is a lot of locals who come enough to help out but generally speaking. There is only 1 bartender and she doubles as the waitress. It can take a bit to get a drink or service. But all and all, it is local and I will support the local place.

Service was good. It was muggy and the bar was sticky here. Your typical “hole in the wall” bar.

The food here is always great! Homemade Lebanese food, grape leaves, & the steak tips melt in your mouth! The baked kibbeh is so good and the ribs! The service is quick but sometimes it does get busy in there and it takes a bit longer to get your food, but they do try to be attentive. Prices are reasonable and karaoke is fun on Friday nights! The atmosphere is a typical New England hangout. It’s fun for a night out. Not really a romantic or family night spot per se. More of a night scene spot.
