I ordered the golden spareribs with fried rice, shrimp shumai and an egg roll.
The spareribs were delicious, wonderfully seasoned and crispy. Very good flavor. They are a bit difficult to eat as they contain small bones and can be chewy with cartilage type texture in some pieces.
The shumai are fried and were fantastic, especially with the sweet chili sauce.
The eggroll was very good too.
I was not a fan of the fried rice. Overall the food was quite tasty and I would purchase it again.

Dinner date and we got the shrimp shumai and 2 chicken general tsao and everything was delicious! Although wished the general tsao was more spicy it didn’t had a few tiny pieces of peppers but not spicy at all. Atmosphere is really good for date night is cozy and quaint. Service was okay could be a bit better, one of the waiters let show unpleasantrie when ordered water to start with which made me stick with water instead going for a drink. Although I do recommend going.

It provides Sichuan flavored food. The spice level is right. I wish they could serve brown rice instead of fried rice.

I ordered the Mongolian beef off of doordash and the photos are very misleading. They show a full portion of the dish in the picture but I got a to-go box that was about 60% rice with just a little bit of Mongolian beef in it. Definitely not worth the money.

Good authentic Chinese food and kind very accommodating service. If you like spicy, this has it in spades … be ready if you get the J2C hot pot! It body slammed me. Also, the beef chao fun is one of my favorite.

My parents have been looking for a Chinese restaurant that isn’t buffet style for a long time since moving from Michigan where buffet isn’t as popular. I figured we’d try this place together since it was on my list to try anyway, we all absolutely loved it. Really great food and loved the atmosphere. Prices are decent for the amount of food you get too, and everything tastes fresh.

HEARTBROKEN & HOSPITALIZED: From Loyal Customer to Food Poisoning Victim ⚠️

I am writing this with a heavy heart (and a very painful stomach). I have been a loyal customer of this establishment for a long time, consistently placing large orders despite their steep pricing. As you can see from my DoorDash order history, I’ve spent a fortune here.

Specifically, their Tomato and Egg dish is priced at nearly $20—an insane markup for such basic ingredients. Because the portions have been getting smaller, I even ordered two servings this time to support them. But my loyalty was met with a nightmare.

The most recent meal was devastating. The ingredients tasted noticeably unfresh and poor quality. Shortly after eating, I developed severe stomach pains that lasted for days. My usual home remedies failed, and I had to go to Walmart to buy stronger, specialized stomach medication (see my receipt attached). This wasn’t just a “bad meal”; this was a serious health hazard.

Why I’m posting this:
Price vs. Quality: $20 for cheap ingredients that aren’t even fresh? It’s a total rip-off.

Health Risk: I have been in agony for days. No meal is worth this level of physical pain.

Proof: I’m attaching my DoorDash history and my Walmart pharmacy receipt to prove I am a verified customer, not a “hater.”

I’m sharing this to warn the community.

Please, SAVE YOUR MONEY and PROTECT YOUR HEALTH.
I will never step foot in this place again.

It’s terrifying how the quality has plummeted.

J2C has always been good; we go there regularly and I always have a good experience. Today, we went, dined in and they had a new menu, or else I just noticed it. It’s lunch specials or their version of giving you a good deal for some regular dishes. Anyway, I’d tried their General Tso a while back, as we’ve been going there since they opened, and I didn’t remember it as being my fave. But somehow it came up today and the server let me in on a secret – they’ve changed it, and it’s very different – larger hunks of real chicken, less breading/flour – so I tried it. So glad I did, it was really delicious. It came with egg roll and fried rice, both were also good. My son got his go-to – beef fried rice – he loves it and it fills him up. Anyway, the lunch special is a great deal, very filling and just 10 bucks. Oh, and they don’t have diet Coke on tap (fountain) ;). but, they do have it in cans and give you ice. So, even tho it’s not a Coke place, they please the customer. Speaking of customer service; it is always superior. The place is a very modern vibe, yet still cozy somehow. And the staff makes you feel welcome. Great atmosphere all around. I will now be back even more frequently. Give their new lunch menu a try! I’m glad I did.

My partner and I really liked this place! We got takeout, but inside the restaurant was clean and relaxing to be in.
The service was very good and we thought that the prices were quite fair considering each order was easily enough for two meals for us. We definitely had leftovers!
The food was really delicious overall! We really liked the orange chicken. We didn’t think that the fried rice had enough vegetables and egg, but that’s ok. In the future we will just get steamed rice 🙂 I highly recommend this place for takeout!

First off, the food was delicious, they didn’t hold back on the Sichuan peppercorns, the flavor was so rich! I got Sichuan fish and tofu.

They were friendly and asked about allergies immediately when I ordered. Will definitely go back and I’m already telling friends about it!
