For the black Angus ribeyes, I asked for it medium rare, but we also told them we wanted a charred exterior – so they came medium well. Not a big deal, but the waiter assured me when we were ordering that “it wasn’t one of those kosher steakhouses that overcooks steak” – he should have been more focused on the end product.
I think a fried chicken appetizer (tossed in sauce) would go a long way here. Meatballs were really good, meat was tender and sauce was spiced well. The pizzas were interesting, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend. Egg rolls were great. Onion rings were fantastic, large and breading stayed on.
We got a bunch of old fashioned drinks – while they were mixed well, the ice cubes were too small, and there was a ton of melting going on. Consider investing in larger ice cubes.
Lamb chops were fantastic, but expensive.
We were three people, each only ordered one main course, and the bill came to $350 — with an 18% tip automatically included. For that kind of money, I expected at least decent flavor or presentation. Instead, everything felt careless and overpriced. Definitely not worth it.
There isn’t much vegetarian options, and non alcoholic beverages.
