My wife and I chose to stop at Annabelle’s for lunch and I’m very happy we did. From the time we entered the restaurant it was extremely warm and inviting. The atmosphere felt like a home style restaurant where everyone is welcome. Our server Camil was absolutely amazing and helpful. Camil was all to happy to make recommendations and chat with us for a few minutes. My wife and I shared Crab Legs, Clam Chowder, Fish and Chips, and Cesar salad. The food was delicious and we both loved everything. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough and it’s a perfect place to eat.

I chose to go here for my Alaskan Crab Legs . It was a bit cheaper than other places . I’m so glad I did. I got way more for my money. Don’t be afraid to get the full pound instead of the one leg. For 97 dollars I had so much crab and also the best onion rings I’ve ever eaten. I was so full that I gave my chowder to my husband to eat. The beer flight is also a great deal. I highly recommend this restaurant. My friend got the crab cake sandwich and it came with two crab cakes in the sandwich. She said it was Soo good.

We stopped in here for lunch in June 2025. We had the king crab leg and the three chowders. I struggled getting the three chowders down. It is a lot of food and cream. They were tasty. The salmon chowder was my favorite. The king crab leg was nice and meaty. Not too busy when we were there. Service was good.

We needed to try salmon on our final port call in Alaska! We were in a bit of a rush to when we needed to get our shuttle back to the boat so we stopped here for salmon chowder. Two of us split the three-chowder sampler which was a cup of clam chowder, smoked salmon chowder and seafood chowder served with a side of rolls. We both loved the salmon and seafood chowder. The rolls were eh. The other in our party ordered salmon chowder in a sourdough bread bowl. That bread was so much better. We were very content and so glad we stopped. We sat at the bar, shout out to our server, im sorry we forgot your name but you were great!

Underwhelming
I had higher expectations after seeing the menu. it did not wow me. That being said, it was good and the atmosphere was really relaxing. I paid 48 bucks for a very small piece of halibut in the land of seafood. The rice was lumpy and rubbery. The “famous chowder” was just ordinary. I don’t usually share negative information. However, this being an international destination I feel obligated to inform. It was at least better than the fried like hell restaurants. Cheers

I wish I could grade Annabelle’s higher as we had 5 days of cruise buffet food and we needed a real food boost.
It was not a great sign that there was not a line at peak dinner hours.
The location is prime as it’s a few steps across the street from the cruise port.
We chose the right side after walking in, which was their parlor dining room.
We loved the look and feel of the room but no one else was there, no customers.
It was very pricey and not much value.
The halibut sandwich was not cooked through and had very minimal taste.
The coconut shrimp appetizer was good, but became my dinner as there were limited options.
It can be perceived as a “tourist trap”, but because of the lack of customers apparently the word got out.
Truly, this is a place that has true potential and are a few decisions from possibly turning things around.

It’s a nice restaurant in Ketchikan. We heard about the famous chowder so we had to try it. Overall, the restaurant atmosphere was very pleasant and friendly. Service was good and the environment was clean. We tried three different chowder so we can decide if it is worth the trip and time. But, I have to be honest and say that we had better chowder in Sarasota, Florida and San Francisco.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat and a couple of drinks. They were able to seat us without a wait. The drinks were great. We also ordered mozzarella sticks, Mac and cheese bites, and a bowl of clam chowder. All of it was fantastic! Our waitress Ann, was very friendly and our service was fast.

Annabelle’s has some of the more reasonable prices we saw for crab on our visit to Alaska. We ended up ordering a pound to share (it was delicious) and I had the crab cake sandwich which was super good as well, would recommend. My only complaint is they keep it REALLY WARM in there.
