Friendly, attentive staff in a clean, modern setting. Great food. The steaks here are top-notch. This time I had a field green salad and steak flatbread, both of which were excellent. The carrot cake is huge!

We had a good time. Sat on patio and the patio glass is nice even with a little wind out since it is able to block. Alligator bites, caesar salad, lobster bisque, crab cakes. We tried a handful of appetizers. I got the 10oz filet for dinner and it was one of the best ones I’ve had and it’s something I have often at other steakhouses. Service was pretty good. The server was nice. It wasn’t busy at all and just didn’t seem quite as attentive as it could’ve been. But we were in absolutely no rush and it was a nice experience.

Fantastic meal and excellent service. Jordan is a top notch server. We will definitely be back and will highly reccomend to family and friends. I have zero complaints and was surprised to read some of the ones on here. This is a top restaurant in the Duluth Superior area for sure.

I am a high-end restaurant connoisseur, having moved to the Duluth area from the Twin Cities, so I am always excited when there’s a new option to go to and dress up at. I had high expectations since my stylist highly recommended the sea bass, which I miss from the cities. However, I was so disappointed with most everything. The wine came in a stemless glass (it’s not a low-end backyard barbecue), the bread wasn’t spectacular (I would expect homemade, but the presentation was lovely with the 2 salts), the sea bass was good but not “to die for”, the truffle fries were also not something I would recommend, the asparagus was a little overdone (soft), the atmosphere was very dark, there is NO view, the prices are Twin Cities a la carte high but just not worth it. I will not be back and cannot recommend it.

Second time dining here and I left with nothing but great things to say. Bartenders were so friendly and the service was super efficient. Comfortable environment and definitely one of my favourite spots in the Duluth/Superior area. And most importantly, the food and drinks were perfect (modifications and all). Will be coming again 🙂

Honest about food sources. Spendy, but great for a change of pace and a special occasion. Or even just a moment to spoil yourself. I highly recommend listening to what your server has to say if you’re not familiar with this type of cuisine. Also, the gator was good for being far away from the farm and cooked perfectly.

This was a perfectly average restaurant. I wouldn’t go again, but it was fine to come to once. The tables for two are in general too small for the size of the plates, multiple glasses and silverware. There was also strange Kenny G-style music playing that would cut out randomly and didn’t fit with the ambiance of the restaurant at all. The service was pleasant but very slow.

Food was amazing. For appetizers we had the oysters, bone marrow, fried goat cheese, and crab cakes. My husband and I both had the ribeyes and it was fantastic. I usually always need steak sauce, but not here! For dessert we had the carrot cake and it was very delicious. I would of preferred the bone marrow appetizer on a different plate, its delicious and plating looked very nice but it was messy and greasy and a little difficult to contain. Service was great, I forgot our servers name but she was so nice and attentive. Drink list and cocktails were good as well. Only thing I would suggest is going earlier, we had a later evening reservation and they were out of a few things. We are definitely going back!

Got to choose where my birthday dinner would be and I’ve wanted to try Wisota since it’s open. What an amazing treat! The food was amazing. We ordered the ricotta stuffed fried olives, Cajun alligator, and the Waygu burgers and truffle fries. Everything was SUPERB! Service was outstanding and I even got a piece of delicious carrot cake with candied pecans as a birthday treat for free. I can’t say enough how glad I am to have tried Wisota and we will be back soon!
