Good food and drink. Between 4-6pm, there is a happy hour time. Half price to draft beers and wine glasses, $1 off from sharable and bottled beers. Overall the quality of everything was in a great level. The only complaint was the burger’s bleu cheese and bacon melted on burger’s patty was a bit too salty, I guess that’s the nature of bleu cheese.

Wow. What a disappointment. We came here on Valentines day knowing it is one of the busiest days in the restaurant business, but this place is always packed. It wasn’t the service or drinks that failed, they as usual were phenomenal but the food was a disaster.
The lobster risotto was chewy to the point of being rubbery and the steak medallions over cooked also, while the rice not cooked through, so instead of being creamy, it was hard in the center. All sitting in a pool of grease.
The braised beef short ribs was a overpowered by the taste of alcohol as if someone thought pouring bourbon over poorly executed food would fix it.
The cajun Alfredo was dry and way over seasoned. The pasta painfully al dente to the point of being inedible.
My steak would have been good if it had been served 20 minutes earlier. It tasted like it was cooked a head of the other dishes and just sat on the plate.
We had brought guests for this celebration and were so embarrassed for having talked up the food here. We realized when our entire meals were bad, we could not expect anything better if we had returned our food or complained. And we know, go to a steak house for the steak, but they have dropped the ball bad.

My husband and I chose Wissota for a Date Night and I was really looking forward to it, but my meal was disappointing. I ordered the Pan Roasted Chilean Sea Bass with orange basil beurre blanc—the orange flavor and flour crust completely overwhelmed the delicate fish, and it was tough rather than tender, so I didn’t finish it.

I also ordered the Galaxy Lemonade, but they couldn’t open the McQueen and the Violet Fog gin and substituted Tanqueray instead. What I got was basically a simple gin lemonade, not a special cocktail.

My husband’s ribeye was fine (a bit fatty, but that’s the risk with a ribeye), and the garlic chive whipped potatoes were okay but a little greasy.

Our server was friendly but didn’t check on our meals until we were well into eating, so there wasn’t much chance to fix anything.

The atmosphere was nice, but overall the experience didn’t live up to what I’d hoped for our night out—especially given the price and the promise of an elevated experience.

We were at Wissota 8/29. Spontaneous date night with my fiance. He’s really good at finding cool spots. The atmosphere was very inviting & intimate. We didn’t have reservations but it was after 6pm on a Thursday so we got a spot right away.

The host seated us with Heather who is fricken awesome!! For starters we ordered an old fashion and espresso martini which was absolutely amazing! The bread & butter with charcoal pepper and himalayan salt was unlike anywhere I’ve ever been before.

We ordered crab cakes for the appetizer which were delicious and aesthetically pleasing. I ordered the bolognese and he got the swordfish special of the day. Both flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. He ate his all gone and I had lunch for the next day.

Then of course dessert… raspberry tiramisu. YUM! Heather was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us her best recommendations from start to finish. She was personable, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of and pleased with our experience! Her service was exceptional, attentive, and flawless. I could tell she genuinely loves her job and the patrons she serves.

Wissota Chop House is a gem. We had an exceptional dining experience! We will be back!

We found this place through a Google search and had never heard of it. Headed up there and had an amazing time! Jen was an AMAZING server. She knew the menu and made suggestions and was so personable. The food was fantastic. The bread with the butter and salt, the Oscar style ribeye I had and that pistachio cheesecake was out of this world! We also went home with lobster bisque (delicious), an incredibly moist chocolate cake and a carrot cake that has become the only carrot cake I have ever liked.

We will most definitely be back as there were so many delicious things to choose from! And if you can, get the raw oysters! They were so cold and fresh!

We had an incredible dinner at Wissota Chophouse. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Our server, Heather, was outstanding, professional, friendly, and truly made us feel welcome. Her exceptional service elevated our night from a great meal to an unforgettable event.

The crab cakes were a perfect starter. They were crispy and flavorful. My entrée was the swordfish special, which was beautifully prepared. I also tried some of my Fiancé’s bolognese pasta, which was rich and satisfying. We ended with the raspberry tiramisu, which was a light, very tasty, twist on a classic.

Drinks were also a highlight. My old fashioned was perfectly balanced to my preference. The espresso martini was bold and smooth.

What also stood out, beyond the exceptional service and food, was the value. Compared to similar restaurants in the Twin Ports area, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and atmosphere.

Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Food was not that good. No seasonings. No umami. Fish was chewy. Risotto was crunchy. Lobster bisque was runny. Crab cakes were mid. The savior was the scallops, they were perfect.
Service was very good, our server was super nice.
Got 5 items off the menu and a beer. $136. Which i don’t mind paying if the food is fire.

We had a fantastic experience here! The food was excellent, but the service really took it to the next level. Our server, Heather, was incredibly sweet and gave us some perfect recommendations. At the bar, Sammie made some of the best drinks we’ve had and was great to chat with. All in all, a wonderful night highly recommended to anyone!

Came to the chophouse on 2/28, for my birthday, first time there, first thing I noticed is how loud it was in there and everybody yelling to try to talk to each other, the table next to us had a favorite word and it started with the letter F. We all ordered the New York strip, and all asked to have them prepared the same, medium rare, my steak was perfect, but thin, my other two guests had thicker steaks, which were very rare, purple, had to send back, and the waitress, was visibly disappointed by our decision. I just don’t think it was worth the price that we paid, and the atmosphere was terrible and the table next to us continued to be the drunken F word table the entire time we were there and people around us were also visibly uncomfortable. Won’t be returning.
