Disappointing experience for the price
While the food was okay, the overall experience was disappointing. The portions were quite small for the price, making it feel extremely overpriced. Customer service was very limited, and there was little engagement or attention from staff. Oh and red Robin season??
Cleanliness was also a concern, as the silverware did not appear properly cleaned. For the prices being charged, I expected much better service, portion size, and overall care. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t choose to return. Its giving gormet priced with marketplace food plates 0/10 would never come back

This was my first time ordering from this local diner, and I chose delivery. I ordered the steak and eggs platter with corned beef hash, requesting a medium rare steak with sunny side eggs. Unfortunately, the corned beef hash was burnt and the steak arrived well done, which made it chewy and difficult to eat. I was unable to finish the meal. While the experience may be different dining in, my takeout order did not meet expectations.

My son moved up to the north side of rochester, we needed to find a good diner to go to for brunch, used to always go to Jay’s diner in Henrietta. Found this place on Yelp thought I would give it a try. It’s smaller than Jays, but I think the food is just as good. They even have some more upscale menu items that look pretty good, I did not get a chance to try them. Our table ordered scrambled eggs buttermilk pancakes sausage and bacon. I thought the eggs had really good flavor and I thought the pancakes were pretty nice, maybe not as fluffy as a pancake house, but they were pretty good. My only complaint, I thought the bacon was too floppy and not crisp. Given that it’s about 5 minutes from my son’s house, I suspect we’ll be going there more. Give it a try, I think you’ll like it.

Pretty dang tasty! The hash browns were the best I have had lately, the flavor was PERFECT. The food came out hot and excellent, I will def be back to try the captain crunch French toast. My only meh about the place is that they charge extra (4%) if you pay with a card, and their atm is currently broken.

This was the most disgusting breakfast I ever had. Coffee mugs were all stained with old coffee and had chips/cracks all over. Prices were outrageous! Home fries and hash browns were gross and floating in grease. My omelet was undercooked and tasted like a dirty grill. Waitress was too busy doing nothing so she couldn’t refill our coffee. I don’t know how this place stays open!

I’m usually cautious about trying new restaurants and this place quickly reminded me why. Ordered a Philly cheesecake that was tasteless and the chips were stale, the chicken tenders and fry’s was a disappointment as well. Use caution when ordering from here apparently it’s easier to get away with terrible service when your order to go.

We checked out Wise Guys Diner on a Sunday afternoon and honestly? Loved it. Chill, cozy vibe with plenty of open tables—no wait, which was great. The staff was super friendly and even gave us some suggestions on things to do around Rochester (we just moved here a few months ago).
Food was on point. The chili sauce? Amazing. My wife said the macaroni salad was the best she’s ever had! Everything we tried hit the spot. Definitely planning to make this our Sunday regular if we can. Just a solid, feel-good diner with awesome food.
