Tremendous improvement since new ownership! I will say consistency in taste, service of staff, and cleanliness of restaurant will vary depending on who is working at the time… open hours have also been odd recently. HOWEVER, all of this is improving day by day, and the staff is very responsive to any problems. Hence why I certainly will return!

Coffee was very good. Issue I had was that no receipt was given with order, then when things were completed they there set on a tray, but not together. It turned into a free for all and no confirmation that people got what they ordered or paid for. One solution would be to have ticket number and call tickets instead of the coffee name etc.

I played myself. I keep giving this place a chance and that’s on me. It has severely declined in quality the past few years. I want to support small businesses during these trying times but it’s difficult when they can’t provide you a clean table. And +$14 for a gluten-free sandwich and A BAG of chips?? The 40 mins I was here there were more teenagers on staff then there were customers in total. Also they delete their negative reviews on Facebook. Next time I’m in town I will just buy two loaves of gluten-free bread for what I spent here today and save myself The disappointment

I used to love Bean. I’m not sure what happened to the quality of food but it is not worth the price now. Coffee is still great quality- 5 stars…Service is friendly. I know it is hard to keep staff, and I want to support local businesses when in town- it gets hard when the quality of what you’re paying for isn’t passable.

While the service was good, I was sorely disappointed. I could hardly taste the difference between the hot Peppermint mocha I ordered & the hot Moosetracks -and they are two very different drinks. The cheese sauce on the Mac & cheese was all bubbly like it had just come out of the microwave & if there was honey sauce I couldn’t taste it. I felt like asking for my money back but I know that it wouldn’t happen. I wish this was the first time that’s happened but it isn’t. I keep coming back because I want to support local business but I’m tired of spending money on food & drinks that aren’t what they used to be.

Excellent quality food and coffee, not just in the area but overall. They tend to adapt to stay competitive which is refreshing in a small town business. I believe the lack of table service is a reason they’re not functioning a lot more like a normal restaurant or diner, because they’ve got the menu, quality, and seating to do a lot more of that sort of business. After you get your order, that’s the last you’ll see of any staff which is completely fine and normal for a coffee shop, but not for a place where you order eggs bacon and toast for example. Same with the fact that you’re supposed to deal with your dishes and garbage before leaving; not a problem at all, just not typical to a sit-down meal experience. Keep up the good work!

Went there for a private event and man it was flawless from start to finish. Plenty of space inside that you could chat and mingle without issue. The crew was very friendly and accommodating. Coffee as always was wonderful, and the food was 10/10 delicious. Country fried steak was cooked perfectly, the potatoes were yummy and I think there must have been extra love in the bread because it was on another level. Just can’t say enough about the wired bean for a special event. Just perfect!
