The fries are also underrated here. They’ve got that sweet seasoning that pairs perfectly with the ranch (which, by the way, is some of the best fast food ranch I’ve had). I’ve tried other sides like the corn and veggie sticks, and everything’s been fresh and well-prepped.
The main thing keeping this from a 5-star review is the wait time. Even when ordering ahead online, I’ve had to sit around for an extra 10–15 minutes after the pick-up time more than once. It’s not a huge deal, but something to plan for, especially if you’re on a lunch break or tight schedule.
Inside is usually clean, and the staff is generally polite, though they sometimes seem a little overwhelmed when it gets busy. Still, they get the job done and the food quality makes it worth the wait.
Overall, definitely recommend this spot if you’re craving wings—just bring a little patience with you.
I recently tried their chicken thighs and they were really good. I ordered through the app and the food was hot and ready when I went to pick it up.
Food: …
They’re clearly from hormone injected genetically altered chickens (because the wings are way larger than expected) but hey, is that a complaint against wingstop or the chicken industry? Not sure… nevertheless… the sauces are really good.
Now onto the average. The service is… well, hit or miss. My family loves wings… I mean REALLY LOVES THEM… me, not so much. But if they love them then it means I love them too right?
Anyway, I’ve been a repeat customer at the local Wingstop for years… always ordering family-sized meals. Ordering on the phone then paying when I pick up. BUT TODAY I’m told…
I’ve got to pay-by-phone because… they feel I would place an order and not pick it up.
Well, I guess I can see the risk… sorta… nevertheless, I didn’t like it. The service certainly didn’t make me feel welcome.
Now onto the bad. The price. Unbelievable. Astronomical is more like it. Doing the quick math, the meal I bought was literally > $2.00 per wing. Can you imagine paying 2 bucks for a single flat? Completely out of control.
Lastly, if I ever wanted/needed to dine in, there is absolutely no way that would be possible with the size of the establishment. The dining area is so incredibly small, I”d consider making it a bar with bar stools… they may get more business that way with a more “Sports bar” approach. Largest table seated 2 comfortably.
So this review really isn’t about the staff which… was pretty good to be honest. Its holistically aimed at whatever Wingstop corporate amounts to being.
I get inflation… but for the love of Pete… $2.13 cents per wing?
Real talk… you can bet I’ll be trying to talk my kids OUT of going to Wingstop from this point forward. Unfortunately kids like what kids like and I may lose that fight more than I win it but mark the calendar… Wingstop, your days are number as part of our fast-food diet.
2 Stars for grossly overcharging us for middle of the road take-out food.
Opened up the order when I got home and 2 of our 3 wing types were completely plain. The one that wasn’t, the Korean Q, had barely enough sauce on them to cover half of that flavor.
Absolutely not worth the price.
