Came to this location a few times because it was close to my job and it was okay. On 4/7/23 I was on lunch decided to order for takeout and go and get my food and get back to my office and my lemon pepper chicken had hair on it which looks to be like facial hair. I called the lady tells me she doesn’t know how that could be possible when the cook wears a hat. I told her a hat and hair net is not the same. So she said to come back and she will make it over I did not want the chicken to be made over I wanted a full refund. So she said to me okay I’ve seen you here a few times I’ll make it over and I said no I bought lunch inside the hospital I want my money.. it’s now April14th and I have yet to still receive my money on my card after being told it can take up to 5 business days.. which is crazy because they took my money off as soon as it was ordered… so with that being said I just disputed the charges with the bank and I will not return to this location I was better off sticking to Elmwood park they are the cleanest wing stop I’ve ever had over the course of years and never had an issue with my food… this oakbrook location is a place I’ll never return to because of hair being in my food

Ordered over the phone in advance but still it took 50-55 mins for wings to be ready whereas i was told 30 minutes. I would rate the taste as just average. They do have Zabiha Halal certificate displayed and was told we use separate oil for halal wings. The only item halal on the menu is bone in wings.

Yes they serve halal option chicken at this branch, although 10 cents upcharged per wing (not sure about other options like tenders sandwich etc). Their seasoning and wings are great. Fries are mid. Veggies are veggies. Wait time ends up quite long though…

I had classic halal wings and fries. i’d say without any exaggeration it was a huge mistake. The wings were hard rubbery and sauce was bland and tasteless. Fries were soggy. It may be an one off meal but personally spoke to the winstop employee and shared the feedback. I am posting this in public interest.
