I have been coming to this restaurant for over four years, and it continues to be one of my favorite places in Summit. The food is consistently good and always well prepared. The menu shows care and creativity, while still offering familiar favorites that keep guests coming back. The bang bang shrimp sliders are a standout and never disappoint. The fish tacos are another go-to and are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done.

The atmosphere is what truly makes this place stand out. From the moment you walk in, the space feels warm and welcoming. The energy is lively without ever feeling overwhelming. The lighting, music, and layout all work together to create a relaxed and enjoyable environment. It is the kind of place where conversations flow easily and time seems to slow down.

The addition of live music adds even more personality and creates a fun, cool vibe. During the summer months, the outdoor seating takes the experience to another level. Sitting outside with a drink on a warm evening makes the restaurant feel even more special. It is the perfect setting for gathering with friends or unwinding after a long day.

The bartenders, Dan, Stephanie, and Brian, consistently elevate every visit. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. They take the time to share updates about menu changes and drink offerings. Every cocktail is made perfectly and with care. Their professionalism and attention to detail never go unnoticed.

This restaurant also stands out because of its commitment to creating memorable experiences. The events and seasonal menus keep things fresh throughout the year. There is always something to look forward to. Whether it is happy hour, brunch, dinner, live music nights, or summer evenings outside, this restaurant continues to be the place to be in Summit.

I keep going to places and ordering their ribs, thinking it will be better than the last place, but it’s always the same. It’s not horrible, but I won’t order it again. The artichoke dip and Asian glaze wings were very good. The watermelon cocktail was on point for the heat outside. My daughter enjoyed the wings and her Mac and cheese, and my wife enjoyed her salmon but didn’t think it was anything special.

I’ve been coming here for over 4 years for Happy Hour, dinners, lunches, and special occasions and I’ve never been disappointed. The Chicken Pot Pie is some of the best I’ve ever had and the Happy Hour has great food and drink at a reasonable price. The staff is super attentive and the bartenders bring a warm and friendly atmosphere. I can’t wait to catch my next meal or drink at Winberries.

We normally love Winberries but the Valentines Day menu was disappointing. Our food came out before our appetizer so we sent it back. When the appetizer came out it was tiny, 3 pieces of shrimp to be shared by 2 people. The entrees were fine but the dessert was also just a small ramekin of chocolate mousse to share between 2 people. For $85/couple, the portions could have been larger.

We visited Winberie’s with a work colleague in June 2023 and ordered a couple of burgers after a long day in the office. Meat quality was amazing, very tender and juicy. Vegetables (in the hamburger) were fresh and salad was a good side! Recommended if you are in the area…

The “new” Winberie’s can be surprisingly good. We have been dining there occasionally for a long time. I sometimes miss the “old” Winberie’s, prior to reincarnation.

Experience – the experience is very good, the atmosphere is nice with a nice bar area.

Service – the service is generally very good.

Food – All of the food is very good. They have some nice signature dishes.

Overall, the value is good.

Feedback

It can sometimes be difficult to park at this location, but it usually isn’t a problem. There is always municipal parking or Uber.

There is often an off-putting odor when seated at the bar. Perhaps a need to clean the drains and traps or work on ventilation.

Update

I’m updating my review, from 4-stars to 1-star, based on additional experience with this business.

Irene is the worst waitress I have ever had in my life. She was so rude and disrespectful and had absolutely no respect for everyone at our table, however treated the tables next to us well (definitely racist). Liked this restaurant before and completely ruined my experience. Took advantage of us and added money to our check and wouldn’t take it off after we complained. Never coming back and wouldnt recommend this restaurant to anyone ever again

It was a nice day so we sat outside. This was our first time here and hearing of this place. Everyone was sitting outside there was maybe one person sitting at the bar? The service was so freaking slow. There were plenty of waitresses sitting inside chatting amongst themselves when I went to find the bathroom- which was hard to find and hidden behind a wall with no signs.

We were sitting for a while before someone even took our beverage order. Since we were waiting for well over 15 minutes, we were ready to order food as well, but the waitress scurried away immediately after our wine order before we could even say we’re ready to order. This meant we had to wait even longer to eat and we were a bit hungry. Also, it was a Wednesday at 7pm.

The food was average. We ordered the Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich which was dry and had zero flavor. We also ordered the Wagyu Truffle Burger and was dissapointed. You could taste the truffle which was nice that it had flavor but overall was expecting more with the Wagyu in the title. The sweet potato fries were under cooked.

The table next to us had a dog and waitress said no dogs on the “patio” (sidewalk) and then continued to allow the dog to sit on the owner’s lap at the table. Just not sure why have rules if the employees don’t need to follow them.

Wouldn’t come back and don’t recommend. Also nowhere to park on a Wednesday even circled around three times and had to park in another business’s lot.
