There were four in our party. I love Indian food and was pleasantly surprised to find two Indian dishes. A chicken curry and chicken tikka masala. I had the tikka masala. It was delicious! If I were in the area I would eat there again!
My husband had liver and onions with brown gravy. He said it was great.
A friend of mine had a steak and she said it was the best steak she’s had in many years.
My sister had a burger and fries and loved what she had as well!!
What a treat to find this place while traveling across the country.

Beef liver & onions was good. Grilled pork chops were good. It would be nice if you could get a plate with choice of 1 or 2. Little boy running around the restaurant being loud was somewhat annoying. Our server was very attentive to our needs.

We go to Texas and Louisiana about every three months and our go-to restaurant in Texarkana closed so we were on a search for a new stopping place. Found Sheba’s and the all day breakfast was a plus. On our last trip we stopped by for breakfast and was not disappointed. Bacon, eggs and pancakes were very good.

On our way back home a few days later we stopped by for dinner. The chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and carrots were very good. My wife had the soup and sandwich special. She ordered broccoli and cheese soup and a club sandwich. She did not fare as well as I did. The soup had way, way too much garlic and she could not eat it and the “club” sandwich was a slice of ham, a slice of cheese with lettuce and tomato. We asked the waitress if we could have a sample of the gumbo to try but was told that they do not do samples. She ate the sandwich and called it quits. As others stated the child running around hollering was a major distraction. The jury is still out on whether we go back.

This restaurant reminds me of the 60s and 70s. It’s family owned and operated and has great food. Nothing extravagant, just good old southern/country/comfort served with a genuine smile. I travel I40 through Arkansas a few times a year, I’m going to try to time it so I come through Hope when it’s time to eat, so I can stop at Sheba’s!

Was lacking. The server was fine. Burger was overcooked. My girlfriends spaghetti was overspiced and instead of offering a solution, they basically said you ordered it we pay for it. No solution offered and the manager instead of offering an option she basically lectured my girlfriend for being upset and basically told her to get over it.

No mention of the spagetti being spiced up at all if anyone is asking. The spaghetti at actual italian restruants isnt even that spicy. She threw it up in their bathroom and they still did nothing to remedy the issue.

The mango lemonade was decent, and I appreciated the free refills. I had the catfish dinner — it was filling, but the Cajun seasoning was really mild and didn’t stand out. The fried okra was probably my favorite part — lightly breaded and extra crunchy, which I liked. The place itself felt like a lot of diners I’ve come across while living in the Southern U.S.— a little rundown and nothing that really stood out. Prices were surprisingly high for the quality, which made it feel a bit underwhelming overall. Not a bad experience, just not a place I’d be in a hurry to return to.

This is a nice restaurant in Hope Arkansas. Staff was very friendly, but i ordered the liver and onions after the waitress told me the cook knew how to prepare it properly. Well it was like shoe leather. The other three people in my party said their meals were ok. I would probably give them another try and stay away from the liver and onions. 7/10

The food was pretty good, but I ran into a pile of salt in my vegetables and had to stop eating them. I like that. You can get many different items here as far as food goes. Man, if they offered beer, it would be great to sit back and enjoy a nice cold beer with my dinner.
