We stopped in on New Year’s Day for an early dinner. We had a party of 7.
Food was good. They have some excellent options for Gluten Free. I have celiac and decided to go with a GF flatbread. Steak and arugula. Very yummy!
Hubby and grandson state the pretzel is a must get!!
Daughter loved the pulled pork nachos. My sister got the larger sized salad thinking she would have leftovers, but it was so yummy she ate it all!
They have house made sodas!
My daughter ordered a beer flight and enjoyed all 4 beers. My husband tried the stout and enjoyed it. My brother in law tried a Pilsner and stated that was also delicious.
Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend!!!

Generally have a good meal here, love the beers and outdoor searing. But yesterday I was quite disappointed. My SO said his burger tasted odd and he couldn’t finish it, we had limp fries, and there was practically no cheese on my grilled cheese. I saw the equally-priced pimento cheese appetizer go out and had 3x as much food on the plate.

This place has a very cool vibe. Parking is free if you’re eating here. We tried four or five different things off the menu and everything was really good, especially the pork belly club sandwich. I think they have a good variety of food and the prices are reasonable/ moderate. The only thing I would say they could work on was the nachos. They tasted great, but once you ate the top layer, there were three more inches of plain nachos piled up underneath that went to waste. I’d say give less chips or more toppings as the pulled pork on top was the equivalent of about a shot glass amount.
The beautiful blonde cashier was friendly and competent.

The restaurant is rustic and cute. I love the outdoor patios. It’s kind of hard to find parking if it’s during busy hours. We got the double cheeseburgers. To me they were just basic, nothing special but my husband loved it. The fries were standard. My husband also got the pretzel and beer cheese, he said it was good. I got their homemade cherry cola soda, it was ok. They also don’t have a big selection of food on their menu.

February 21, 2025 – Great Combo at Dock 1053 . . . Amazing fresh lunch at Wilson’s Eatery & Lynnwood Brewing Concern ( LBC) with award winning BEERS

While in Raleigh for my daughter’s wedding, we love to explore the area for good food & adventures! Dock 1053 is a renovated warehouse & train stop from 1955. . . built by the Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company.

Now this facility holds 8 new businesses! Owner Ted Dwyer started Lynnwood Brewing Concern in 2013, this 2nd location at Dock 1053 opened in 2015. Dwyer then established Wilson’s Eatery in 2018, which shares a beer garden between the symbiotic businesses! Great idea!

My wife, her sister, and I stopped in for lunch ! As we approached the front counter to order food. . . I asked why the name Wilson’s? The gentleman pointed to the dog in the photo on the wall, a beautiful white Lab named Wilson ! Told Wilson is/was the family’s loving and kind pet! ❤️ Works for me.

My wife ordered the Italian sandwich . . . Ham, pepperoni, salami, mozzarella cheese, tomato, lettuce, pesto aioli, on sour dough bread. Her sister ordered the Frickles . . . Fried pickles, guacamole, on tortilla chips. I ordered their famous BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich . . . Braised pulled pork, w/ Dock slaw, pickled onions, Eastern NC BBQ sauce, on a brioche bun ! We shared a bite of each together, wonderfully zesty , great flavor combinations , especially my pulled pork sandwich with the splash of vinegar bbq sauce and pickled onions!

Oh, I also ordered their LBC flight of 4 beers ! (Big selection of beers)

*Oatmeal Stout – 5.5% dark chocolate & caramel . . . robust & rich !

*Tangerine Mimosa Sour – 5.5% light

*Bad Leroy Bro – 5% Caramel & toffee

*Back That Razz Up – 5% wheat raspberry

I enjoyed each of those LBC beers, very different styles of beer. . . Must return for another flight sampling , work thru the list!

Great lunch stop, as spring approaches. I bet in the warmer weather their Beer garden is packed with beer enthusiasts!

Note: The whole parking lot at Dock 1053 is privately owned, a parking fee is charged!

Hey good news. . . Take your parking ticket into the business you frequent, your ticket will be “ validated” ! ( no charge)

Great space in a hip area with good food! I liked my Wilson salad with steak I only wish there was more toppings to lettuce ratio and would have doubled the steak. Kiddo loved her kids cheeseburger, fries were additional cost. Lemon lime soda is a bit sweeter than Sprite. Great atmosphere for dinner out with friends.

The food is good but you must validate your parking or you will be towed (remember your license plate # bc they only tell you that in the restaurant, not out in the parking lot). You have to order at the counter, give them your phone number for your food, seat yourself, and then pick up your food after they text you. The wait was about 20 mins for French toast and a sandwich, and the rest of my party was done eating before I got the text about my food. They also didn’t give us ice in our drinks, but did for the person in front of us.

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Great spot for hanging out with friends or with your family (and your furry pets are welcomed)! Loved the atmosphere and the decor. The food was delicious! The pretzel was PERFECT (not to mention the mustard, which tasted home made and the queso). The beer was delicious, we had the Amber! They also make their own sodas, which I thought was super cool! Great place , loved how clean it was! I highly recommend it!

Overall very impressed with this place! The food was amazing! Very unique and original taste, excellent blend on ingredient choice that is refreshing to the taste bud, not like the same old same old recipe we see everywhere else (even though they look like the “regular” sandwiches, flatbreads, hamburgers; they are different!). Their Cha Cha’s Bit is out of the world yum, the Steak & Arugula too! Highly recommend! There’s also a brewery and a cocktail bar. A very casual and relaxing atmosphere. Food price is reasonable. Food portion is good. Been back over and over again! Keep it up, Wilson, excellent job!
