We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this establishment. It’s a fantastic spot for catching a game, and the atmosphere is quite lively. The food was truly flavorful, and we found the prices to be very reasonable. We especially loved the street corn; it was absolutely delicious. Furthermore, the staff members were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our meal.

I went in alone on a Saturday night. There was only one person working the front counter. It was a bit of a wait. Once seated, my waiter was great, but I was seated near the kitchen area where I could overhear the staff arguing and the manager yelling at the waitstaff. It wasn’t a pleasant experience.
Unpleasant yelling and arguing aside, the food was good. My brisket mac and cheese balls, though a little toasty as seen in the picture, were good. They were crunchy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. My salad was also good, I had to ask for 3x the amount of ranch that it was served with. The tenders weren’t too hot which made them perfect for the salad.

Figured that from his incompetence the night of the pick up order.
Will visit the North East location instead. LESSON LEARNED. AVOID THIS LOCATION.
Was not greeted. Chose curbside and waited 15 minutes. Had to go inside. No greeting. No separate cashier for pick up orders. Cashier finally assists and then says TELL THEM WE ARE OUT OF MILKSHAKES.
ma’am this is my dinner.
She gets a, manager. Luke doesn’t seem to know what to do, I ask for a refund and he takes a look at my receipt, can’t find the order info, asks to see my order number from my phone and snaps a photo. Says my refund will arrive in 5 days.
I don’t believe him.
Luke didn’t even apologize. No one called me to offer a substitution. Drove 40 minutes from Poteet for this dinner after a long week. Nothing to drink on the way home.
Not even a free tea or something. Bad, terrible service.

So today I went with my husband to one our favorite places to go get a drink, Esme was working behind the bar, Andy was just finishing up his shift, I ordered 2 drinks, for my husband and I. She informed me that they didn’t have any well bourbon (for my husband’s drink), I said ok give me Jack Daniel’s. We got our drinks, everything was fine. About 30 minutes later I finished my drink, and I pushed my drink to the end of the counter to show Esme I needs another drink. There was 4 people total sitting at the bar, I look over, and our bartender, Esme, is walking around by the kitchen area eating chips. She then sits down behind the little bar area by the kitchen and stays there for another 6-7 minutes. By this time, it’s been about 8-9 minutes, since I finished my drink. I see our server coming back behind the bar, and he just leans against the cash register, eating her chips and looking at her phone. She never looked our way. My husband finally texts Ashley who is serving tables and tells her Esme is just ignoring us. Ashley gets her to finally loos at us, 15 minutes later. We closed our tab and left, because of horrible service. We will never go back if she is behind the bar.

First time ordering from here and the food was 15 minutes late. The chips are stale. The fried mushrooms and pickles are soggy. The jalapeno cheddar burger is extremely dry. Paid for bacon and didn’t get any. My wife has an allergy to onions and we asked for no onions and there were onions anyways. The queso has a solid layer of cheese on top like it’s been sitting out for hours. We will definitely never ever be back. The menu looked amazing but the food is apparently trash at this location.

My go-to plate here is the 1 lb crab legs. Usually get 2 clusters of legs, sometimes 3, 2 potatoes, and 2 corn. I get the garlic butter sauce. For the price, you can’t go wrong. Reasonable price for crab legs, I think. The 1 lb shrimp is also good if you’re craving shrimp. I also have tried the gumbo, and it wasn’t for me. I’m looking forward to trying other things here in the future. Enjoy!
