We had a great experience dining at pelato. Its a famous italian restaurant in the heart of Nashville. Food is awesome. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is welcoming. We started with a recommended red wine, followed by multiple shareables. Although they were good, the best was the rigatoni vodka pasta. Burnt broccoli felt a little oily. Tiramisu was a cherry on top. We had pre-booked otherwise sometimes the wait time exceeds upto an hour. Parking spots are difficult to find.

My wife and I had an outstanding experience at Pelato in Nashville. The food was excellent, but the real highlight of the night was our server, Stef.

We travel often and have dined at multiple Michelin-star restaurants around the world, so we truly understand world-class dining and service. Stef went above and beyond explaining the menu, guiding us through the small plates, and making thoughtful recommendations. She was professional, personable, and genuinely passionate about what she does. I truly hope more servers take her professional approach — she sets the standard.

Now to the food:

The broccolini was phenomenal — her recommendation — and even though I was hesitant at first, it ended up being one of my favorite dishes of the night. The gnocchi was outstanding and reminded me of a hearty, traditional Nonna-style recipe. The calamari was very good, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The zucchini strings were good on its own, but with the lemon as recommended it was taken to another level. The chicken parmigiana was also delicious — classic and well executed. We ended the night with the tiramisu, which was the perfect end to the evening.

Great atmosphere, great small plates, and an overall excellent dining experience. But above all, Stef’s service made the night unforgettable.

Highly recommend Pelato.

My wife and I had an outstanding evening at Pelato. We’ve dined at Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, so we know exceptional service — and our server, Maddie, belongs in that conversation. She was professional, warm, and genuinely passionate, guiding us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations that made all the difference. The broccolini — her suggestion — ended up being a highlight. The parm was perfection and perfectly executed, the salad flavorful, and the meatballs was the perfect. Great atmosphere, great food. But Maddie made the night truly memorable.
Highly recommend — and ask for Maddie.

We had an incredible dinner here and loved every bite. The Radiatori Vodka was rich, creamy, and had just the right amount of Calabrian chili heat — absolute comfort food perfection. The Bucatini Cacio e Pepe was simple but flawless, with perfectly al dente pasta and that authentic balance of pecorino and black pepper that’s hard to find outside Italy. And the Baked Stuffed Shells were warm, cheesy heaven. The ricotta and mozzarella melted together beautifully with a touch of parmigiano that tied it all together.

On top of the amazing food, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was spot-on friendly, attentive, and genuine. You can tell the kitchen cares about quality and detail.

Highly recommend this spot for anyone who loves great pasta and a relaxed, elevated dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Wonderful Italian restaurant in Germantown! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the garlic bread with the Parmesan sauce—highly recommend the Parmesan sauce addition. I had the Vodka pasta. It is a must order! My friend enjoyed The lemon shrimp pasta. We finished with the Italian beignets. The only con was the service was a little rushed. We were asked about dessert before finishing entrees and then check was brought before finishing/clearing dessert. Given the nice vibes of this place, this made the experience feel rushed. Our table was turned so fast it was less than an hour and the Restaurant was 30% full.

This place is truly spectacular. We visited it today for the first time to celebrate my birthday. The service is incredible, as are all the dishes, desserts, and drinks. We would definitely come back and recommend it so you can enjoy an explosion of flavors on your palate. By the way, my English is very bad, and the waiter did an excellent job making sure communication was perfect.

Let me start by saying this is the best Italian restaurant we’ve ever been to in my 54 years. We came here for our 34th anniversary.

They have the most customer service oriented restaurant I’ve ever seen. Ethan who served us at the bar knew the menu inside side and out including all the gluten free items that were available. By the time we were seated since we got there early for our reservation at 830 we knew exactly what we wanted due to Ethan’s descriptions. Ethan served me the best sangria I’ve ever had. It has brandy in it!

They seated us 8 mins early and Jonathan our server was also top notch and made our night the very best. We ended up making friends with the couple next to us who also shared one of there items with us! Nicole from Philly and Tom from Jersey, if you’re reading this, thanks for making our anniversary the best ever! Two managers came by and checked on us. They did not rush us at all considering we had an 830 reservation for 9 pm closing. Carbonara radiatori Stuffed mushrooms. Panelle, potato croquettes prosciutto plate (to die for !!! best I’ve ever had ) were all UHMAZING

We will be back over and over again. I promise this!!

I love Luogo, so I had high hopes for Pelato, and, well, I was blown away lol!

When my mom and I first walked in, we immediately fell in love with the warm, homey atmosphere. The service was amazing, and our food came out quickly and hot (I burned my mouth, that’s how hot it was).

We shared the broccolini, carbonara, and shrimp limone, and each dish was delicious. My mom isn’t a vegetable person, but she loved that broccolini. The carbonara was creamy and had a nice smoky flavor from the pancetta. The limone was perfectly cooked, and the lemon wasn’t overpowering. It complimented the pasta amazingly.

We can’t wait to come back and try more!

What a perfect evening we had
Love that the food comes out as cooked, fun sharing event. They said we should order 3 things, glad we didn’t cause we had ample food left over. Great wine list

Just a fantastic experience from start to finish.

When you have a server like Sydney that is so knowledgeable of not just the menu, but what items go well together so you can enjoy an array of menu options.

The best part of this Italian dining experience is the smaller portions so you can share multiple different dishes.

And what’s even better is the timing of each plate. We never had them stacking up as we would finish one and a few minutes later the next would arrive.

The fresh mozzarella was our starter and added the caprese to it and was just superb.

For the ones that want to make sure they get their greens, the burnt broccolini has so much flavor and is cooked perfectly.

We got the shrimp scampi and was recommended by our server Sydney to add the bucatini cacio e pepe and was simply perfect as the fresh cracked black pepper was so damn delicious.

We couldn’t decide between the meat balls and chicken parm, but so we made the wise decision and got both.

As stated earlier, the sizes of each plate are perfect as you don’t get too stuffed.

Both the chicken parm & meat balls were just ideal for the protein portion.

The cocktail choices were splendid and not soft pours at all.

For dessert it was recommended we get the bourbon butter pecan Gelato and was a perfect way to end a great dining experience.

Cannot wait to get back to Pelato!!!
