The food and service here is great! We were visiting Lubbock from Tuesday until Thursday, and discovered this place while out exploring on Saturday. They were close to closing but still had ribs and chicken which were both great. Decided to return Sunday to try the beef sandwiches which the server told us the day before were the best but tend to sell out early. So glad we did! Okra is a must as well. On our way out today for the journey back home we stopped for lunch – cheese burger, sliced beef, and red hot sandwiches Finally was able to grab some photos before starting in.

This is a small “mom and pop” restaurant that serves BBQ and burgers. The chopped beef plate is big and comes with pinto beans and potato salad. Great flavors, staff is very friendly and service is quick. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Family packs are available. This is definately a place to try!!!

All I can say is RIB SANDWICH. I am originally from Wisconsin, and am bbq clueless. But I love ribs, so the rib sandwich sounded awesome. But it is literally ribs with bones in…and sauce on a bun. This is no pick it up and eat it sandwich. Now this may be a thing all over Texas, but I was very surprised, and staring at a very intimidating task: how to eat it? Then it dawned on me. This is no sandwich. This is a rib holder that you can nibble at as you go. The bun catches the sauce. The ribs are cooked to absolute perfection. And the sauce? Well I’m extra grateful for that bun, because wasting a drop would be bad form. Dang. Amazing bbq, and the folks running it are sweet as sugar, they are masked for covid, and only have a drive through. High fives, y’all. High fives.
