Im disappointed in where this bar has went. I’ve stopped in many times in my travels. The last 2 times have been very poor. The off duty older lady bartender has been very rude. Intentional to where I was on the phone outside near the stage and she would come yell right next to me. Once I decided to leave she was happy she ran another one off.

My boyfriend and I recently camped at Lost Moose Meadows Campground and we were asking the owners what the best place to eat and get drinks was and they recommended the Wilderness. We loved it so much that we went back a second time within two days! The food is delicious and the portions are huge! We cannot wait to go back. It is our new favorite restaurant and bar!

Best chicken fried steak west of the Mississippi River… LITERALLY!
I visited here in March of 2022, and have since visited EVERY state west of the Mississippi River. About three days a week during my travels I would visit a different restaurant and would always order the chicken fried steak. NOTHING has ever even came close to being as good as the chicken fried steak I was served here.
There’s only three dishes I’ve been served in my lifetime that I have never forgotten, and the CFS here is one of them. I took a picture of it, but sadly I’ve lost it. This was in March of 2022 so their recipe may have changed, but I sure hope it hasn’t. Best CFS west of the Mississippi!
