They are not giving sauces, and two times in a row the meat portions were very small. I eat here often, usually ordering to go, and l’ve always liked the food, but I’m giving it 1 star for multiple reasons.
Last time, I opened my bag and there was no fork and found only one hot sauce. Even tho I asked for soy sauce as well. I couldn’t eat the rice because I only eat it with soy sauce. This time, I made sure to ask for a couple of soy sauces along with couple hot sauce. The cashier confirmed, but when I checked the bag, there was still just one hot sauce and no soy sause like last time they did.
l asked politely for more, and the worker looked at me with attitude, like I was being difficult. He gave me one more hot sauce and said, “We give only one sauce.” I asked again for soy sauce and got one tiny packet–1/4 fl oz. Am I really supposed to eat a full plate with that?
Is it hard to give 2?
When I asked if they charge for extra for 2, another employee said yes. I asked why they didn’t say that when I requested couple hot and soy sauces while ordering. I would’ve been happy to pay to enjoy my meal properly.
Instead, I was made to feel like I was begging for sauce. That’s when I decided not to order here again. By the way I didn’t get second soy sause.
Sometimes being stingy with small things like sauces is exactly how you lose loyal customers.

Surprised to find them on Uber Eats and they definitely lured us here with the bogo promo!

Located in the food court at the Pacific Mall, it brought back lots of memories picking up our food there. The bag and food were well packaged, very sturdily too I might add.

Smell of food was intoxicating on the drive home, tasted as good as I remembered it. Huge portion of rice with good portions of protein and veggies. I added chili oil on mine and it was YUM!

Hi so I’m a pretty frequent customer at both locations Ventura and Thousand Oaks and I rarely complain. But today was probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had. We got chicken dumpling and the were soft and soggy like the had been sitting out for a whole I ordered my plate with extra chicken but it didn’t have that. I also order a plate with chicken well done and it wasn’t well done. I went to complain and the guy at the register started telling me that he couldn’t refund my money because I had already ate it. Like yes I did I was going tot take a bit out of my food. And he started telling me he knew me again I’m frequent. He then said okay I knew good will be watching me and said started talking to me about god which respect but totally unprofessional. He was rude and unprofessional worst service and food.

This Manager told me F’ You. When I tried to explain I was allergic to shrimp after his employee plucked shrimp from my order an I witnessed it. They didn’t know I seen. This disappointment of a manger needs to be fired. I will be filing a formal complaint with the health board. This man has no respect for my life apparently! I felt so disrespected. Sarku Japan will be hearing more from me! Be cautious!

Liked going here but after today experience i wont be coming back. Ordered Chicken & Shimp WITH NOODLES instead of rice always my go to order not the first time i order it. Got my order sat down to eat and noticed they gave me white rice instead.

Went to complain and ALL the workers gave me a hard time saying they don’t do that when i always order it like that. All of them were rude and rolled their eyes at me and didn’t try to fix the problem.

DID NOT FIX MY ORDER WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EXPERIENCED.

I ordered a chicken and shrimp w/soba noodles and rice. The taste was plain Jane. No flavor what so ever. I asked for a teriyaki to flavor the food. I was charged 50 cents for a watered down teriyaki! I’ll give them a 1star since cashier wasn’t rude but will never buy food there again.

My son and I both ordered the beef bento box. Everything was FLAVORLESS. They gave us free Siracha sauce, which I can’t have, so I asked for teriyaki sauce and they charged me 50cents! the vegetable mix had 0 taste. the beef had very little taste the California rolls no taste so to try to get some flavor I poured the teriyaki all over everything. But even the teriyaki sauce was weak. Watered down maybe. I ordered a side of shrimp to mix with my beef. I opened the container and they smelled so bad. It was a strong odor. they were old. Save your money. eat somewhere else. I don’t know what they are doing back there. I swear maybe everything gets soaked to death in water. it was our first time and will be our last. 4 thumbs down.

07/26/2022 Edit update giving lower star. For this specific place
The food way way dryer than before and smaller amount while the price increased.
Its my favorite place but i don’t know anymore.

They need better training on new employees or better lead/manager on this area. Or atleast give better treatment for those who really work hard for giving us the best food and treatment.
This used to be my go to foods but now im reading bad reviews, im not sure if its true or not.
