The menus that they give you are old and faded that you can not read the food descriptions. You have to ask the server what it is. Being from Buffalo the wings are not even close to what you find in Buffalo. Some of the sauces were very good. The appetizers we had were very good. The Steel town spuds with tots were good and the Bavarian pretzel was good.

Without question their cheeseburger is the best in the Grand Strand. One important thing: the kitchen closes at nine (they’re open until 10) so if you don’t get there before it, a lot of the menu — including the cheeseburger — isn’t available.

Traveled to Barefoot Landing from Oak Island NC. Ordered wings to go for dinner at the end of the day. I should have checked my food before leaving but did not. We ordered 25 wings with 3 different sauces. I opened the box once we returned home and there was so little sauce I could not tell any of them apart. Not an exaggeration at all. Of the 25 wings MAYBE 3 had some semblance of sauce on them. The cook on them was OK but was borderline under cooked. We ate a few but ended up throwing the rest out. Unfortunately it is about an hour drive from where we stay so going back wasn’t an option for any resolution. Check your to go order if eating here.

We got the 50 wings and some apps. Cheese sticks were excellent. The wings were excellent. The iced tea was excellent, except they ran out of sugar. The 50 wings come with 10 sauces. The sauces should be marked on the tray as I am very picky about which one I am consuming, but I just picked whatever, and every sauce I chose was very good. Not overly busy, so it was easy to seat 8 at 430pm. I would go again.

Upon entering we waited awhile before being greeted by anyone. Once sat we noticed other tables appeared to have been waiting for service. While waiting for our server I looked up some reviews and got worried after reading some of the recent reviews. Our server stopped by finally and promised to be with us shortly. A few minutes later he, Kevin I believe returned and took our order. From that point on things got better. Our appetizer arrived a short time later and was hot, fresh and tasted great! Our food then arrived and it was just as hot and fresh. Luckily tonight we weren’t in a hurry and had no where to be. I feel their main problem could be staffing issues like most businesses are dealing with today. I recommend giving them a try if you’re patient and want a relaxing dinner. Thanks to Kevin our server for making the best of the situation and making our dinner out an enjoyable experience!

This is officially one our new spots on vacation! The service alone will bring my family & I back. Host reception was incredibly welcoming, server was on-point as well. Wings were phenomenal – hard to find a spot that has a good wing AND good sauce; they nail it on both. Highly recommend!

Dinner was a complete disappointing disaster for my wife and I and our two small children. Arguably the worst overall dining experience of my life. The manager did the right thing and comped our entire check, but we were just looking for a nice enjoyable meal with tasty food. Food was mostly terrible. Place has all the signs of heading right out of business sooner than later.

Staff was brutal. We went later in the evening and the business was not busy at all. Our waitress was polite but horrible as a waitress. Waitress took about 25m to come back to the table to check on us. By that time we no longer wanted more beer. The guy who delivered our food dropped some of our wings on the floor and never apologized nor was it addressed until our waitress finally arrived back. My two stars would be zero if the wings were not delicious.
