Friday night out with friends completely ruined by the worst service I’ve experienced in years. Every Friday for the pas 20-25 years we (group of 5 couples) go out to mark the end of the work week and get a good start on our respective weekends . Yesterday was no different accept there were only 6 of us as 2 couples were not available. We decided to go out of our comfort zone and try this place. Menu looked good and reviews were decent as well…you really need to wonder about that. Since we all work and this was a bit further for us than usual we called to reserve a table for 6 at 7:45pm. The reservations were happily given and nothing else was said at the time of booking. When we came, there were only 3 or 4 tables were taken, considering Friday evening. In any case, we set down and ordered a good amount of food, mostly appetizers to start. In a little bit after that as we were only partially through with our appetizers, the waitress started, frankly, bugging us about getting more food. After her 5th time or so, I said we’re still enjoying our appetizers (food was actually good) and we need more time before ordering more. To which she replied that they close at 9pm (Friday night) and we need to order now. I wondered to her if it was just the kitchen or they would want us to leave as well. To my surprise she said yeah and clarified by saying that they start closing down promptly at 9 pm. The time was probably around 8:30-8:35. Not having a choice we quickly ordered . By that same time around 8:30pm we were the only occupied table in the restaurant. We got our ordered food closer to 9pm and proceeded to eat it quickly. While chewing our food, I noticed the same waitress rolling her eyes and giving us dirty looks. We left around 9:15-9:20 barely able to finish our food. Needles to say, we’ll never be back there again. I understand, the good help is really hard to find in this brave post covid world but c’mon.

I really liked this place. Their food seem fresh, hot and good flavor. However 2 times now I have received my order missing something. I like their Bento lunch boxes and once it was missing the sushi- called to let them know and was told I would be credited $5 which would automatically apply – never got it. Most recently, I ordered a Bento box and no rice – what the heck- who is fulfilling these orders? It’s clear that something’s missing why are you handing incomplete orders to customers?

The sushi is delicious and the staff is very friendly. They remember me and take the time to chat.

Food is just as good as at Wild Ginger III where we usually go. The atmosphere is more casual and that of a take out environment which is why I gave it 3 stars. Perfectly clean and nice. Very friendly staff.

This place was great! The menu starts with sweets so you know they have their priorities straight.

Our seafood had a “chemical” taste and my broccoli smelled strongly like animal urine, to the point that I lost my appetite and left. They could also take better care of the dining room.

Long overdue review as I’ve been going to Wild Ginger (both locations) for years. Hands down the best value you can find, especially when you order the “lunch special”. A soup, salad and entree for $10, unreal. Totally fresh all the time. So happy they survived Covid. Find a better lunch special in the area and I’ll buy your next meal!

I am so disappointed about how this placed has been running. The quality of food has gotten significantly worse. I would give zero stars if I could. A roll I get very often was messed up. For $15 a Yoshi roll has spicu tuna, shrimp tempura and spicy crab on top. It barely had spicy crab and had NO spicy tuna. When I called to give the restaurant a heads up I overhear the waitress say someone wants to talk to a manager, I don’t want to talk to her, I. Then get hung up on. I called back and actually was able to explain the situation to someone I thought was the manager, when she asked the waitress what the situation was I overheard her basically calling me a liar. I drove back to the restaurant because they needed to see how bad the roll was and I wanted a refund. The young girl who was supposed to be the manager only refunded me for that roll. I am so disappointed with the customer service. I will NEVER order from there again and I will never recommend anyone there.

To help counter Danielle’s evaluation. I’m sorry your experience wasn’t suitable for you. More than happy to sponsor a personal chef meal in case you had higher expectations than what is/was offered. Your feedback helps others, but it isn’t true for everyone’s experience. Again, my apologies.
