Me and some friends were visiting from out of town, and this place looked good and has a lot of vegetarian options! When we walked in, another customer even excitedly said “Everything on the menu is good!” and she definitely wasn’t lying!! The service was wonderful, and the food here is delicious. Me and my friends absolutely enjoyed everything, and when we come back, this is absolutely going to be a favorite to return to!!!

Visited on Christmas Eve. Just a heads up that this is a takeout-only spot. The food was delicious—it has a real homemade comfort food vibe rather than a standard commercial restaurant taste. The Chicken Satay was a highlight; the flavor was excellent. Highly recommend if you are looking for a comforting meal in Cambria!

Just like the last 2 reviews this food is very bland and does not taste like anything like Thai food. This is the Pad Thai… the noodles were mushy, the flavor… what flavor? Tasted like they used ketchup for sauce. I could have done a better and I don’t even know how to cook Asian food. Maybe that’s why they only do take out, because you wouldn’t have a chance to return their food.

Excellent place for take-out food. Ordered the Sesame chicken. Sweet and savory stir fry with chicken and lots of vegetables sautéed to perfection. The crunch of roasted Sesame seeds rounded off the dish wonderfully. Goodly portion of rice as well. Highly recommend and would gladly eat here again. Atmosphere and service was kind, courteous, and inviting.

This review is for those looking for more than just one sentence saying “it has vegan options”. Wild Ginger has a daily vegan special and well-labeled vegan items on the menu like an eggplant curry. This set it apart of other spots in Cambria that don’t have any vegan items listed. We had the tofu satay to start. I was expecting skewers but it was served on a bed of sautéed spinach and the sauce was delicious. I had the delicata squash special and my companion had the schezaun tofu. My dish was better, with a flavorful curry sauce and nicely roasted squash that made for a substantial meal. Service was friendly and informed. They have a standard sorbet as the only vegan dessert offering, which never really entices me. Lots of outdoor seating and a pet-friendly patio. Definitely give this spot a try.

As two vegans traveling along the California coast , it’s always nice to find food we can eat . The owner was very accommodating and guided us through the menu as to what was vegan . You cannot eat there , it is takeout only, but there were outdoor tables and chairs so you can enjoy your food while it is hot. They even have homemade sorbets with exotic fruits .

It was great! I got the sesame chicken and spring rolls. Both were awesome and full of flavor. I loved the texture of the spring rolls, so fluffy! I’m not sure what the other previous complaints were about, just unappreciative I guess.
