The food at Weinerschnitzel I’d say is the same as it always was. The main difference is how bad the prices here have gone up. I got a double cheeseburger, a polish sandwich and a shake. All were good but it ended up being a whopping $19.90. Habit next door is cheaper overall and for the burger individually is like 30 cents more. You won’t end up paying $20 though for a combo meal unless you get a shake say with burger and fries. That shocked me because it’s been years since I got Weinerschnitzel in Sacramento but man, feels like it skyrocketed.

Wow! What an amazing place to go to for the first time! The service was extraordinary and she gave us a warm welcome. The place was nice, clean and neat and I recommend this place to everyone. The food was so delicious and we’ll put together. Flavors were on point and freshly made, great job to the team who made our meals. Friendly service and clean eating area. They moved the soda dispenser behind the counter don’t blame them for doing so. Now for the food… ordered a chocolate sundae which consisted of something resembling ice cream in a plastic container with chocolate syrup on top. No whip cream no nuts and no cherry on top. All of this for $4.99. Also ordered a chili dog with onions. The bun was shriveled and looked like the air was taken out of it. The wiener had an indescribable taste not in good way, and the chili tasted like it came from a can. This ugly looking hot dog was 3.39. This franchise is far removed from the Der days. I have put it on my banned list never to return again. Okay i upgraded to two stars cause one star was unwarranted.

Love their tamales! They aren’t spicy at all, sorry to all the spicy food lovers. But these are amazing! They are kinda expensive for the size over four dollars! The staff could stand to be a little more friendly. The restaurant needs paint it looks old and a little dirty.

We stopped in to have a tamale & we also had the chili cheese fries. The tamale was good & 1 fills you up. Lots of meat in them. Chili cheese fries were also good but it’s very expensive. Nearly $4 for 1 tamale

Clean establishment & food brought to our table promptly. As this was before the lunch rush, and we are seniors, we may have gotten special treatment. We ordered the premium beef. Hadn’t had a chili dog in years and really enjoyed it. My spouse, who ordered the sauerkraut dog, liked his but asked to have a bite of mine and wished he had ordered chili. Update: went back again today. Ordered the regular chili dogs this time. My hubby had to order a second one as they are pretty small. But they were served hot and were very Tasty.
