One of my favorite bars in Danbury to visit on a sunny afternoon. After their recent remodel that provides a more open air experience, it’s one of the only places around that has a nice atmosphere like that. The tables are clean and the drinks are cold!

I have been here twice for lunch.. Philly cheese steak and Pastrami with cheese(Rachel) and both were delicious. The portions are generous. The prices were reasonable and the service was good. Will come back for dinner some time and then update my review.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s nice inside with lots of booths and a bar John Taffer would be proud of. The service was top-notch. The server offered great suggestions. I appreciated being asked if I wanted to try the beers I selected first. Nice touch. The meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and asparagus hit the spot. The brownie a la mode was superb, and the cookie dough ice cream was the best I’ve ever had. A great find.

I understand how this restaurant has been around for at least 5 decades. Food is very flavorful and good portions. The menu is very diverse mostly American cuisine. House drink specials are always delicious. Service is attentive and friendly.
