I had a fantastic experience at Whitey’s Fish Camp. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the dining experience enjoyable from start to finish. The food quality was good, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly our orders were served without compromising on taste. The highlight for me was definitely the red beans and rice – a flavorful and delicious dish that added a unique touch to the overall dining experience. A great place to enjoy good food with excellent service!

Good food, nice atmosphere, and great service. I can see why this place has been around as an area destination for so long! I am not one for seafood in general, but really enjoyed my burger. My wife got the fish and chips and really enjoyed it. Top flight Long Island from the bar was a bit weak, but everything else was very good indeed. It can be busy, so plan accordingly!

My boyfriend and I came for dinner after a long afternoon out at the Ronnie Van Zant Memorial Park. We were hot, sweaty, and HUNGRY! I had done a little research and came across this gem. Let me rephrase..a treasure! Shocked I have never eaten here with my family through the years. The food was absolutely amazing. I felt like I was transported into another world. Almost Louisiana like. We sat out on the deck by the water. We ordered yummy shrimp cocktail with calamari for apps. For dinner I had ordered the New Orleans Special. Had this with fried cat fish. It was so delicious that I brought the rest of what was left of it home. The red beans and rice were killer. Above all wonderful food, friendly staff, and nice atmosphere. Also the drinks were pretty dam good. For desert we had a yummy piece of Florida Cake. So spongy and soft. The icing sweet with some serious rich flavor. Will most definitely be coming back.

We love this place! First timers from out of town. We showed up after rush hour and had a little bit of trouble getting seated. Other than that, the entire meal was fantastic and Debbie the waitress was a hoot! The shrimp and grits was some of the best I’ve had. The Orange cake was just a tad dry but still delicious. Don’t come to Northern Florida without eating here. It’s that good.

The family used the RV camping area a lot. I used the fishing dock sun up sun down! Nice view! Nobody bothers me while I’m casting my line! Good time. I Would go back.

Come hungry but with some patience! Their food is awesome, portions are huge but do be aware that they’re an incredibly popular place with staffing issues so service may be a little slow. Have some patience, enjoy the atmosphere & give your overworked server a big tip!

One of my favorite things to do in the summer is eat outside with friends. It’s always an enjoyable experience to have a tasty meal and a cold drink in the sun. The food is always amazing, and so is the service, especially from Kelli. She is very professional, attentive, and fun. We look forward to going back soon.

Catfish basket and Blackened Mahi Tacos with fries and coleslaw. Excellent catfish, according to my Aunt Cherry. The fries and coleslaw are also delicious. The Mahi tacos, however, were hard, overcooked, and under seasoned. Servers experts but not there for a chat. Our server returned once to leave a fresh tea for the one I hadn’t touched.

First timers!! Food was delicious, great atmosphere. Our server was nice, but lacked being attentive. Our food was delivered by someone else and my daughters plate of food accidentally slid off the tray onto the floor as he was trying to serve it. New food had to be made. Most of our table was done eating by the time she got her food which is understandable. The thing that made me rate service lower was not that accident, but the lack of apology or offering something as a way to make it better while she waited. The spilled food laid on the ground next to us for most of the meal. Our server came back around to check on us a few minutes later and had no idea what had even happened and that is where his lack of attention was most evident with no attempt to apologize, offer something while she waited, or even clean up the mess. Overall still a great restaurant and we would definitely go back and give it another try. I think we just caught him on an off moment? Or he may have had too many tables??

Went with a group of 8 people. They provided two wait staff. Still didn’t get orders right and multiple missing items. All were quickly corrected and food pretty good. Will go again. Blackened shrimp and their clamps chowder are really good!
