Ordered from White Harbor Sushi for the first time and was genuinely impressed. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and not overly heavy like many places. Packaging was neat, delivery was on time, and the rolls actually looked as good as the photos. Definitely ordering again.

I gave this place 2 chances, deeply disappointed-
We noticed this new sushi restaurant and decided to give it a try. Before ordering, we called the restaurant to ask a few questions. A guy named Mark answered and was very nice. He told us this is “the best sushi place in Jacksonville.” We asked specifically how long delivery would take, because we had friends coming over. Mark said it would not take long and recommended ordering directly from their website instead of Uber Eats, explaining that Uber takes 15% commission. Based on his word, we trusted him and ordered through the website.
Right after placing the order, we received a message saying delivery would take up to 1 hour. That was already tight for us, but we stayed patient.
About 45 minutes later, we received another message saying there would be a delay. This was already frustrating, especially since on Uber Eats the estimated arrival was 15–40 minutes. We called Mark again, and he apologized. We asked why he hadn’t mentioned any delays before we ordered, since we were relying on what he told us. We even offered to come pick up the order ourselves, thinking it might be a delivery issue — but he said delivery was not the problem.
At that point, he admitted that almost two hours after placing the order, the kitchen hadn’t even started preparing the food yet, and told us it would take another 25–35 minutes.
Another full hour passed. By now, we had been waiting over 3 hours. People have lives and plans. We waited an additional 15 minutes and had to leave the house — and only then did the delivery driver arrive.
Total wait time: 3 hours and 15 minutes.
They included a complimentary bottle of wine, which might be a nice gesture for some, but I don’t drink — and honestly, that doesn’t fix the situation.
All of this could have been avoided with basic transparency. If the restaurant was busy, just say so. Instead, we were pushed to order through their website so they could avoid Uber’s 15% fee, promised 20% off for the first order — and ended up receiving only 10% off.
Ironically, when we later checked Uber Eats, they were offering much better 1+1 deals, which would have been a far better option for us.
This experience completely ruined our evening. I will not order from their website again, and honestly, after this experience, I’m not sure I’ll order from this restaurant at all.

I don’t know if they were busy or if the food is any good. I ordered delivery for 4 rolls and was given a 20-30 minute wait time, which kept changing and after 2 hours of waiting with no communication and time piling on with no near arrival in sight, i canceled the order. Ended up still getting charged for food i never received, i cant say i want to try again after this but i hope for others this wasn’t the case and i just had bad luck.
