Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

They sometimes get it right the second time. But 3rd times, the charm. If you don’t mind waiting and waiting again to get your order corrected and then corrected again. At least they didn’t stare me in the face like they wanted to punch me in my throat or did they? I was, after all, shoeing away many flies.

My Whataburger experience was horrible. We just ate at the Roswell, New Mexico Whataburger on April 1st, at 10:00pm. They gave us the wrong dressings for our salad and forgot one of our burgers. They took 15 minutes to get the forgotten burger out to us and we had to go ask for it, and they still got it wrong. And it wasn’t busy when we got there. And the worst part of all of it was how dirty the store was. They had enough staff that was standing around, to send them on the floor and clean off the tables and under the tables. It was disgusting, we had to clean our own table just to have a clean table to eat at. It was just so disappointing to see it in such a dirty state and how poor the customer service was.

Ordered Texas toast and received slices of bread from the supermarket. Another staff member attempted to give her 2 cents as if she was the resident attorney and was quickly shut down. Being from Texas and having eaten from this establishment since my youth, I am appalled with what this one has tried to scam its customers with and just makes me wonder what other corners are being cut. Will not eat here nor recommend to any friends or family for its practices.

I stopped in for a late night bite to eat. The restaurant was dead as they were in the midst of a deep cleaning. We were told it’d be a 30-minute wait. The cleanliness of the restaurant and dining area, as well as the friendliness of the staff more than compensated for the 30 minute wait. The food was delicious, a little pricey nonetheless, but well worth it. Staff was super friendly and helpful as well as patient as we were hungry and anything but. I hardly ever dine here but with literally no other options in our small city, it was either this or gas station food so I feel we made the right choice.

We are from Texas and moved to Carlsbad. This location is the closest to us but it was worth the drive! We love Whataburger!! For us the burgers taste great, the fries are bomb, and the cashier was a sweetie! Great customer service! The only thing I can add that is 1 star less, was that there was flies, mostly by the windows. I suggest sit towards the center. Other than that, we are most definitely going to keep driving here at this location!

Passing through, my fiance and I were craving Whataburger. We stopped at this location. The place was immaculate; that’s a plus. But the customer service was hard to match. We ordered our food. I believe we were the first in the store (it had just opened for the day), and we waited a minute till we got greeted. After placing the order, we waited for 0 communication on how long it would take. After five or so minutes, we received what we thought was our order, but it wasn’t. It was wrong. So we drove around to the drive-through window and asked to have our order fixed. *The lady, I don’t know her name* was happy to fix it, so thank you. But dang good thing we were not too entirely in a hurry to get to where we were heading. The burgers were dry and it was not appetizing at all.

Ordered at 12:04 a.m., August 30th, and got 2 southern bacon spicy chicken meals. The sandwiches came out amazing and the guy at the window was very fast and friendly, for being one of the three employees there. Sadly, I was unable to catch his name and it is not on my receipt. That man deserves a raise.

Went here late at night 8/1/23 with my kids as we were traveling across the country. The guy that took my order made it seem like the single milk shake that I added to my order just ruined his night. Got my food then sat around around waiting for the drinks to which this older gentleman gave nothing but bad attitude toward us as we patiently waited. No ketchup, no napkins, had to remind him about the straws and when he finally showed up with the shake he gave it to us and just shut the window without a single word. It’s not my fault you hate your job buddy. Worst experience I’ve had at what is typically a great fast foods chain.
