Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This has got to be the WORST Whataburger in El Paso, if not in Texas. The service is horrible, the food products they put out are substandard, and apparently the leadership team doesn’t care about correcting any issues. This is not the first time that I’ve come by to get a meal and the order is completely incorrect, missing something, the burgers and fries are cold, the sodas are just carbon water, and/or the burgers are completely disgusting. I’ve attempted to contact the leadership team and it’s apparent that they aren’t trained on fixing any issues and on customer service. Even after complaining and posting horrible reviews, not once have I heard from their leadership team or their Managing Partner, Gilbert Tapia, Jr. I would assume that as a leader he would take the lead in making sure that the operation is running appropriately and that the standard set by Whataburger, the Corporation, would be important to him. I really believe it starts as the top and it’s apparent that his leadership team at the restaurant aren’t being trained appropriately. Once again, I will contact their corporate office and ensure that they are aware of the substandard food and service and the lack of response from both their Managing Partner and his leadership team. I am certain that Whataburger has a standard that every restaurant should follow and this one in failing miserably. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. If they had zero stars ⭐️, I would have chosen that. This restaurant is NOT worth the time, not worth the money and definitely not worthy of the Whataburger name.

First time having Whataburger – I think it was pretty good. I had the melt and the toast didn’t hold up well to the sauce but flavor was good. The honey butter chicken biscuit was really good. Service was quick and the people were friendly.

My son ordered online. When we got there, there was a long line at the drive thru. We made to the window to be told there was 14 orders ahead of us. What’s the purpose of ordering online then. I can’t answer the rest of the survey cause we left. You can keep my $25.

Whataburger is also offered in other states other than Texas. However, if you want delicious fresh tasty quality Whataburger food, Texas wont disappoint. This particular Whataburger was extra delicious, the buns were perfectly toasted and all food was piping hot. Try the limited time Banana Pudding Shake. It is AMAZING. Cuddos to the store manager, she/he has the employees well trained.

Manager was locked in the women’s bathroom for her break “5” min on her cell phone because you could hear it thru the door while a line of girls waiting outside. Restaurant smelled bad as soon as you walk in. Only 1 stall per restroom. There are plenty of other Whataburger’s near by go there…

This isn’t the first time I’ve gotten food that had been sitting around and horribly burnt after waiting 20 minutes in the drive thru. The “Manager in charge “ made no attempt to rectify the issue! She told me to look up the corporate number online, seriously, and thanked me for the feedback. She didn’t even offer me an opportunity to get some fresh food! It’s obvious that she hasn’t been trained on customer service and the ability to maintain a fresh product for her customers. I will continue to make sure people know about the horrible service and their inability to address their shortcomings when it comes to their food! If there was a zero rating, that’s what I’d give them.

Drive thru cashier was impolite. Person in front of me in the drive thru gave up waiting and got his money back and left. I didn’t have to wait very long for my food though.
