Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I swear this has to be the SADDEST Whataburger in existence. Everytime I go to this location there’s always an issue and I’m waiting a good 30-45 minutes for my food. Tonight was no different when I decided to give it a shot. I ordered the patty melt and fries and waited a good half hour for my to go order. When I got my food home I discovered the fries were cold and old, the meat on the burger was like eating a hockey puck and the bread wasn’t toasted and all soggy and there was hardly any sauce or onion on my burger. This location really needs to get their things in order.

This location is horrible. They can not serve food anywhere near a reasonable time frame. My visit today included onion rings so burnt they were almost black in color and I paid for extra cheese that was not on my burger. Wish this wasn’t the closest whataburger to my house.

Went in for a late lunch on a Thursday at 1430hrs. Employees were polite and greeted customers as they came in. I was surprised at how busy they were, but they worked like a well oiled machine. They were very efficient and we got our food as we ordered in a good time. My better half and I honestly didn’t see anything negative about this location on our visit. Would not hesitate to stop by again if we need to visit the AFB again.

Have yet to eat inside. I have made 5 trips to this location, because I really enjoy the food at Whatabuger. However 4 out of my five trips have been disappointing. They can not seem to get an order right, either messing items up, or forgetting items. This last time, I checked everything before pulling away. Not only was it not correct, but Cassandra who was working the window had a chip on her shoulder and was upset at my asking for the items I ordered and the basic items needed to be able to eat my meal. Long story short this is my last visit until they get better at thier service. To many burger places in town to have to wait 20 min. In drive through for an incorrect order.

Waited just for fries and a shake. Employees where cheerful and polite. While the wait was short (maybe 10 minutes) the fries were cold when I got them.

Good is always wrong. Long wait times. Even with two lanes running. Wrong receipts when handed food. Staff never seem to apologize for there mistakes. They just give you horrible looks. Rude customer service, window always closes very fast when orders are wrong etc. It’s not the customers fault for short staff, or poor work attitudes. You chose to work there. Either step up or step out and allow better working citizens with less drug addictions and horrible attitudes.

Good luck finding a clean table at this location. More than enough employees. When we arrived there were only three tables occupied and all the other tables in dining room were dirty. We had to speak up fast to ask for ketchup due to them just giving us our food and heading back to counter. I went to give one of their customers ketchup due to employee walking away when that customer was asking for ketchup.

Went in around 4:00, ordered a Whataburger with cheese and jalapenos, and a large drink. Got a burger with no cheese and a bag of jalapenos. I took it back, came right back out, girl brought it to me and told she was making fresh fried for me and they would be right out. I was done at that point, I didn’t even ask for fries. Told the girl I was done and got up to leave. No offer for a refund, nothing. So, I guess I paid over $10 for a drink. Well, I know where I won’t be stopping for food again.

I’m a nice person but tonight was the third time we did curbside pickup and they forget about us. If they can not manage drive thru, curbside or even dining in. Then maybe don’t do all that, I spoke the manager and it was like ohhhhh okkk I’m sorry umm yeah ok sorry. Maybe a new manager needs to be hired especially at the busiest time of the day, or be able to multitask.
