Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I had an amazing breakfast experience at Whataburger in Eagle Pass! I ordered the Breakfast Burger with grilled jalapeños, and it was absolutely delicious! If you’re feeling super hungry in the morning, this burger is perfect—you can even save half for lunch. It’s my go-to breakfast order, and I 100% recommend it!
The service was also outstanding. The waiter who attended me was incredibly nice, friendly, and welcoming. I truly appreciate when employees show that they enjoy their job—it makes the experience even better!
For those who love extra spice, I also ordered picante sauce on the side, and it added the perfect kick. If you’re looking for a great breakfast in Eagle Pass, this is the place to go!

We had never tried Whataburger before but were highly impressed with this store. From the moment we walked in it was a great experience. The girl who took our order was helpful and friendly. The dining area had lots of room and was pleasant, the music was not too loud to visit and there was enough room the customers were not crowded. Our food was brought out and someone brought a tray with catsup, napkins and salt and we could get what we needed. every staff member had a smile and a friendly greeting. The food was very good, a BIG hamburger in this day and age. the fries good and the onions rings were terrific, real onion rings. Thank you for a super first time experience

It is Whataburger… get whatever you like. The special Dr. Pepper limited time shake is super tasty if you like the taste of Dr. Pepper. The spicy Ketchup is always amazing and the fries are the best around. It is open 24 hours and the place is clean and the staff is super friendly. Always a nice experience.

We ordered two cheeseburger combos, and the price was $24. It is a good value for money.
If you order a combo, you get a medium-sized cup, but the drink cup size is usually the Large or X-Large size of other fast food restaurants.
Whataburger‘s hamburger is 5 inches in diameter, which is a very large size compared to McDonald’s hamburgers which are 4 inches in diameter.
The burger has a lot of mustard sauce, so it has a strong mustard flavor.
If you don‘t like mustard sauce, I recommend asking for easy mustard when ordering.

I always make a point to stop at Whataburger whenever I’m in Eagle Pass, and the one on S Bibb Ave is a great example of what makes this chain a Texas icon. The service is always friendly and the food is consistently delicious.
On my last visit, I ordered a Patty Melt and it was fantastic. The two beef patties, grilled onions, and creamy pepper sauce on toasted rye bread were a perfect combination of flavors. My fries were hot and fresh, and of course, the spicy ketchup was a must-have.
The atmosphere is laid-back and clean, with a definite community feel. It’s clear they take pride in serving their customers. It’s a great spot for a classic burger and a true taste of Texas!

The burger was good, the fries arrived cold and I had to wait for another order of 3 to be made. By the time they were done everyone else was almost done with their burgers & my burger was warm instead of hot. We were also missing our drink cups & had to send the “server” back for them. Overall it was just okay which was disappointing because this was my first visit.
