Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Kuddos to this whataburger I was pretty impressed by my order I did mention plz I want my burgers hot and my cheese melted and they did perfect. Tonight’s crew did awesome even if I have to drive further to get here and I get good service and great eats and awesome fries will come back again. The way things are going in prices we’ll this burger filled me up and enjoyed my meal. Thank you whataburger Staff that was here tonight. And the cook did burgers awesome.

This is my most reliable Whataburger spot in Brownsville. Employees are always nice and quick as they can be. I was there earlier and I saw a rude old lady fighting for her pennies in change when the cashier told her they had no pennies to give back politely and kindly. The rude old lady just was giving pushback for a few pennies. Like really, go walk down the street and look for a penny if ur fighting for it. I want to thank the employees for bringing my food quickly and servicing with good vibes. Please treat people working customer service better people. My food was missing tomatoes on it but it’s alright.

Always missing something or wrong order, frequently cold or old oil used. When they replace the messed up order it’s always better but still usually wrong. They say they never have receipts to give. Always a frustration with it, takes away from enjoying our food all at once. We’ve thrown it out a couple of times and just taken the loss of money.

The manager on duty was very nice and helpful but the worker who was replacing my warm fries after placing an order to be ready in 5min. I placed it it advance to save time and I still waited inside for about 10-15min and the worker replacing my fries threw a small tantrum and I could hear everything she was saying. It’s a small place so you can see and hear them. And I thought this was nicer asking now vs calling and making someone feel bad but that was unprofessional. Super bummed. Never coming back here.

I ordered the chicken strips meal with a coke. Took forever in the drive thru, but understandable given the hour I went. I had several issues with my order, starting with the way it was packaged. My drink almost fell when I got home, but it wouldn’t have mattered since I was given diet coke instead of the coke I ordered and it went in the trash along with my money. The gravy was put in sideways and spilled onto my fries. The chicken strips were the biggest disappointment. They were way smaller than the last time I ate here. The only good thing about my meal were the fries, which were unexpectedly good given that they’re usually cold, hard, and flavorless. Overrated and bad service.
