Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I had a good experience with cashier who was kind and nice. The place is clean, the restroom is little, the parking lot is good. Burgers I chose is one of chicken and the other a patty melt, the burger chicken was spicy and delicious, while the patty melt was meeeh.

Yesterday I went to buy a combo number five, the wait was too much, more than 20 minutes of waiting when they gave me my order, the Burger was all flattened, the meat a little raw, falling apart, very moist, everything crushed and the worst thing was that the potatoes were missing more than half, unfortunately I didn’t realize until I got home to eat.

The burger wasn’t the best, it was very hard around the meat patties I also observed a fellow customer ask for new set of fries because those given to him were so hard and old. The place can use a modern touch, although it does have a lot of food traffic this place can definitely be upgrade to meet today’s modern standards. Food definitely needs help because the quality is going down. I had a lot better and I really think it can do better but today it just wasn’t it. Sad loss of money.

This Whataburger never disappoints! The food is always fresh, hot, and exactly how I ordered it. The burgers are juicy, the fries are perfectly crispy, and you can’t go wrong with their spicy ketchup. The service is consistently friendly and fast, even during busy hours, and the restaurant is kept clean and comfortable.
What I love most is the Texas-sized portions and the fact that it’s open late—it’s the perfect spot for a quick bite or a late-night craving. Every visit feels reliable and welcoming. Definitely one of the best Whataburgers around!

Kuddos to this whataburger I was pretty impressed by my order I did mention plz I want my burgers hot and my cheese melted and they did perfect. Tonight’s crew did awesome even if I have to drive further to get here and I get good service and great eats and awesome fries will come back again. The way things are going in prices we’ll this burger filled me up and enjoyed my meal. Thank you whataburger Staff that was here tonight. And the cook did burgers awesome.

I love the patty melt with extra sauce and jalapeños and they usually add it in the burger, I never ask fo it on the side but this time they really said “do it yourself.” I don’t mind cutting the jalapeño at home and putting the sauce but this was a first. Had an amazing laugh.
