Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Update…went to get my FREE breakfast bowl. Flies were flying all over the place. Be sure to order with gravy on the side. Mine came with gravy all over….taste HORRIBLE!!! They must use OLD biscuits in the bowls…could not cut bread.
The COST of whataburgers continue to rise and the meat continues to get thinner.
I asked for grilled onions. NO GRILLED ONIONS on the burger but there was plenty of lettuce.

Manager and sales associate were fun and a great delight really made my visit here the best they were both young and just so caring manager kept making sure everything was going well so grateful for him. I don’t know what happened in the restroom. Maybe somebody went in there and smoked their vape, but I just went in there to go use the restroom, real quick and I started choking and coughing, and I had to open the door stick my head out for a while to breathe and then hold my breath while I wash my hands and yeah, it was really annoying cause I already have health problems. And Then it took , like , maybe twenty minutes for me to find the clear that out of my lungs

The service was appalling. Young workers hissing under their breath and rolling their eyes at you if you ask for anything. Every order was wrong or incomplete. Everything asked of the workers seemed to be beneath them to do for you. The manager was either hiding in the back so he didn’t have to hear the complaints or he HAD to be there to keep a close eye on the incorrect orders being shouted across the store. If you enjoy Whataburger, pass on this one.

I visited this particular Whataburger on the day off the 75th anniversary. Even though it was a very busy day, this location was on point. Orders were coming out fast a fresh. The manager was definitely running a tight ship. A young man named Daniel was very polite and helpful even helping open the doors for customers coming and leaving. What an outstanding group of employees this must have been. Before I left I asked who was in charge for the evening, they said Jonathan. Great job Jonathan and staff!!!
