Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Roy was great when he took our order. He was very friendly and helpful. I’ve never been to this location but it was pleasant. The food took longer than usual but I was there during lunch hour so I expected it. The food was the same as at any other location. I ordered onion rings with my grilled chicken sandwich. They were freshly made and excellent.

They must hire the dumbest, slowest people. Doesnt matter how busy or what shift/time it is. The food will take twice, sometimes 3 times as long as needed, and there’s a 50/50 that something is wrong with it. I cant stand it when I forget my previous experiences and accidentally go there. Its instant regret.
Save yourself a headache and go to the one on the highway.

Do NOT go here unless it’s for Drive Thru that’s all they put out. Zero customer service. No way a Whataburger breakfast order should take 20 minutes. And not even apologetic.

Wow! Didn’t know that Whataburger still had these nostalgic looking locations! We welcomed the stop this memorial day weekend on our way back to San Antonio and it took me back to my childhood! Cool location and very friendly staff. Just in case you are wondering, the bathrooms are at the very front of the restaurant! Also just in case someone from corporate reads this… BRING BACK THE CHICKEN FAJITA TACO!!
