I live in SC and every time Im in Kissimmee Borinquen Restaurant is one of my destinations. Although I’ve been visiting them 3 years the owner & staff are oblivious and dont engage in menial conversion. I do however patron a few times a year and the trip wouldn’t feel complete without my fave dining spot. Service is hit or miss but the food never disappoints! I dont have a fave dish because I love it all! If I must say what I’ve purchased the most it’s the beef stew with rice, the pizza and finger foods like alcapuria and empanadas.

This is a hidden gem in Poinciana!
The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. You really get value for what you pay. Portions are very filling.
We recommend the breaded steak with salad. The breading was very well seasoned. We also tried the cheese pizza and it was so soft and cheesy!
Great place to come with family, great food, great music and atmosphere.

I don’t normally do reviews but let me tell you this place is amazing.
My family and I went on 2/15/26 and were amazed by how good everyone treated us from the (waitress, manager and I even think one of the owners was there).
Great environment, family friendly and every single dish we tried was delicious.

The food was spectacular. For an appetizer, we shared the fried cheese with guava, a classic combination done perfectly. I ordered the spicy shrimp with the best perfectly fried tostones, crispy, golden, and full of flavor. Paired with an ice-cold Presidente, it was the perfect combo.
My husband had the churrasco with mofongo, and it was absolutely delicious, the steak was cooked perfectly and the mofongo was rich and flavorful.
Amazing food, great flavors, and an experience we will definitely come back for.

I have been a loyal customer for a year now,I’m currently pregnant I ordered an house burger with fries there was no egg what so ever in my burger and even mayo-ketchup don’t look like this,I noticed it at first there was a gooey looking paste but I didn’t think much of it until I finished eating everything and then I didn’t feel right after while still looking at it looks like spit,called the manger at the store expressing the situation I wanted my money back but she refused and suggested to make me another one, I said no because why would I want a remake after expressing my concerns? So after all the debate over this situation because they didn’t want to give me my money back I just gave up and said I’ll just give an review,I’ve been in the food industry for 6-7 years and this situation was handled poorly I’m disgusted I have no issues with the staff, I wonder because the drivers are not getting an 40$ tip from a 20$ order took the frustration out and did that I don’t know but definitely never ordering from here again
