Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Management was rude when taking our order cut my wife off mid sentence didn’t apologize. Then the food comes out cold like and slapped together like my 3 year old made it. Grilled cheese wasn’t even warm enough to melt the cheese. I can honestly say this is the very first time I’ve had a bad experience at a Whataburger.

Thanks to the Rude Manager at 6:25pm on 8/29/23 (Tall, husky girl) I’ll be not eating at whataburger for at least 6mos. Not gonna let them, Rip Me off anymore. It seems for My $10 meal, I get a junior sized meat patty and try to explain that to that Manager-but she is giving Me a hard time about it-I can understand If I was rude to her-but wasn’t. After her, being hard to talk with-I just told her-forget it..Seems that certain manager, gets a good number of complaints on.

Jessica gave me some of the best service. I’ve had a lot of burger and a home even though there were some issues with customers in the lobby. She knew how to deal with it and managed to defuse the situation immediately and seemlessly. Go Jessica

Food was awful. Soggy fries that went cold way too quickly. Hamburger just didn’t taste very good. Only reason for two stars is because of the chocolate shake with the extra chocolate sauce. Somewhat redeeming of the meal. Service was good, other than fries needed to be swapped out for fresh ones. Drive-thru, so neutral score for atmosphere.

The worst thing about this place is that the outside lane for drive-thru has no organization and its extremely terrible. The last 2 times I’ve been in that lane, there is easily 5-10 cars that come and go faster than those in the outside lane. Today I even got my full order before the 2 cars in front of me in the outside line, but i still couldn’t move and leave. Either walk inside, or stick to the inside lane if you want better service.

They forgot the gravy with my order but I called to let them know and, since I was too far away to return, they gave me a replacement meal on my next visit. Customer service was excellent

The folks were nice, and the service was good. Place was clean, especially considering it was late in the evening and they were super busy with a bus full of people. The food is good, but nothing spectacular about it. Their apple pie is nice, as well as the strawberry malt!
