Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Arrrr mateys!! Well, maybe there is no pirate ships here, but there is 2 cool ships you can see and climb in. We stopped the day before our cruise and it was fun for all ages. You can climb through a ship and a submarine! Prices weee reasonable too. Highly recommended for something different to do next time you are in Galveston.

Got my whataburger fix today. Got a jalapeño and cheese, and chicken strips with jalapeño ranch. Everything’s made to order and was delicious – sure hit the spot… especially when we don’t get whataburger in Asia. The sawdust staff were all extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Thumbs up to the crew!

I order food via the drive thru at this location. There were 2 girls working the drive thru window who were very rude and unprofessional. 1 girl was completely mute. I said hi, but she never said a word. She didn’t confirm my order, my name, the total, nothing! Didn’t even acknowledge me. The 2nd girl then told me to move around to the front very rudely after just sitting there being ignored. Then, another girl brought my food out to my car but forgot my drink. She was the only polite one I met that night, but they still forgot my drink. I did receive my drink, however, their attention to detail is poor at this location. I say this because I visited this whataburger a week ago, order onion rings as a side. Made it home with no onion rings, but the took my money for it. Yes, I was pissed! Not only that, but last week I ordered into. I told the cashier my order was To-Go. They brought my meal for Dine-in. I specifically asked for it To-go. Again, not paying attention to the details. I won’t be going back to the location for a good while. I ordered the sweet n spicy bacon burger tonight. The burger was made poorly. This is what i paid $11 for. The frys were just about cold and the new ranch chicken wrap was wet and soggy. Look at the picture- this is wrong!

Worst customer service ever.
You stand there and they just look at you without being greeted or asking if you been helped already.
There’s like 6-8 employees and most just standing around converting and laughing without a care in the world.
I just stood there without saying anything just to see how long it would take to be acknowledge by anyone, I stood there about 8 minutes before someone asked if I had been helped. Once I told the guy at the register that I was picking up a mobile order he then just screen to the other workers mobile pick up and there I stood about another 5 minutes. A girl saw that I was waiting there and the order had already been prepared and they had it just there on the Shelf looked at me and just left the bag there at once more. Then again after 2 or 3 minutes another girl came and asked me if I was picking up I told her yes and she then grabbed the bag put it on the counter and walked away, then after walking past me she noticed that I was just standing there and she said “oh that’s your order”. If she knows that’s my order because I just told her I was picking up why did she not have the order to me. Worst customer service I’ve experienced in a Whataburger. I’m not sure if there’s even a manager on site but this store needs some real management and get all this lazy workers to do what they’re paid to do, not to just come and hang around and talk with other co-workers.

I went through the drive through, I needed a Monterrey melt and asked them to make it with love and they did not disappoint. The guy at the window was amazing because I asked for a coke and my overworked brain told him I ordered a Dr pepper until I realized I was wrong but he fixed it anyway. I felt so bad but they were very friendly and my food came out great especially right before the freeze. I hope everyone made it home safe and gets a break after today!

All food from whataburger is phenomenal. But when that food comes with a hair. Well. No so much. They offered to replace the order which is the best they could do in a situation like that. I appreciated that, but i was already home when i discovered the hair. Took it as a loss. Won’t personally be returning to this location, but the person who answered the phone was respectful and seemingly took my complaint seriously. For me personally 2 stars. You may have a different experience however.

I like most of the Whataburger I’ve gone to but what sets them apart are the friendly and helpful staff. This place has that and it shows with the staff that took my order Ms. Ana. I hope their pay reflects how great they are

I live in the area and unfortunately this is my local Whataburger. In the last year or two this location has really gone downhill. Tonight I went with my husband. Zero cars in the drive through in front of us, he ordered a meal, I ordered a Whataburger with cheese no tomatoes (his order was as is, no alterations) we paid, pulled around, waited at the window over 5 minutes, then were asked to pull around to the front and waited another 7 minutes for our order. Got it home (3 min away) and my burger was stone cold and had tomato on it. Why were we waiting so long with zero cars in front of us, for 1 burger, 1 chicken sandwich and 1 order of fries only to receive cold food that wasn’t made to the ONE specification requested??? This is probably the 5th time in a row to have a terrible experience at this location. Corporate needs to step in and do some retraining here. I won’t be back to this location. You expect a wait time when the place is busy, when it’s dead inside and out why are we waiting so long for COLD inaccurate orders at 7:30 pm??? Whataburger is far too proud of their prices to deal with cold food.
