Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Yo I haven’t even tried the food but I’m pretty sure I shouldn’t be waiting more than 20 min for my food 10 at the window and 10 after paying. Fries were cold…. Chicken was hot tho

Food came out quick. Only gave two stars on the food because the burger was decent. Fries were cooked in old oil. It gave the atmosphere an obvious burned grease smell and smokiness in the dining area. While eating I noticed the one guy cooking the fries fold up a cup and started to pick something out of his teeth in front of the register. He continued to work without washing his hands or changing his gloves.

Line was extremely long. Waited for 40 minutes in the drive thru at midnight. Food was fresh and service was good. I expect to wait after 11 bc it’s so busy. Wasn’t a problem.

Biscuit was hard like a crunchy cookie. The chicken in side was hard as well leaving me with a hard dry honey Chicken Biscuit. The service was horrible . Whomever took my order over intercom needs customer service training. Just so you’ll know, the correct way for getting someone to speak louder is by saying, Ma’am/sir I’m having a hard time hearing you through our intercom. Do you mind speaking a little louder so I can make sure I get your order accurately. NOT, huh? What?I can’t hear you. That was unprofessional of you. So with my food being horrible along with customer service, It was imperative I left a review.

Its my neighborhood whataburger and the closest one to me so I will continue to go. however, i often get uncooked bacon in my breakfast (edit: TEACH SOMEONE HERE HOW TO MAKE BACON). its common to wait in a backed up line. The burgers and lunch are usually pretty good, chicken is sometimes dry.

Ordered drive thru after my sons baseball game, we got home and the large order of onion rings I paid for was not in the bag. I called and spoke with someone who said they were the manager. I told them about the issue and that I didn’t have the receipt but just the packing slip they sticker on the bag. She told me no problem and to bring in the receipt and I could get the onion ring or the refund. I showed up 2 mornings later to get the refund and order breakfast but the manager would not do so since I only had the packing slip and not the receipt. Pretty frustrating to pay for something and not receive it but even more frustrating to be told it would be taken care of only for them to not honor what I was told.

I would not even feed this to someone I hate! I paid for delivery to feed my family as I just had surgery and I’m unable to cook at the moment. What I received was burnt beyond recognition and of poor quality that I had to buy food from another restaurant instead. Burger was too tough for my family to eat. Fries were stale old. As for the rest… we’ll just look at the photos…

Sawdust location doesn’t do curbside delivery. It has the signs but they will not come out with your food. I went in to receive my order. The worker behind the counter had to give the spill about how she should not have to do curbside. One guy unwilling to take the food out to the drive thru as he started to walk off and put the food in the back. Many came in from the drive thru to get their food. Whataburger usually is functionally better than other places.
