Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

When I normally go here, it’s pretty good. Unfortunately, this time my burger patty was way undercooked. It’s ok for a patty to have a little pink, but it it RAW all the way around. Not to mention by the time I got my food, it was cold, the drinks were watered down and the fries were soggy. I was the last person sitting in the drive through so it’s not like they were rushed and/or busy. Very unpleased with this visit

When we arrived at around 4:57 am, we found only one employee on shift: Andre R. The store was recently cleaned, and Andre was providing prompt, correct and extremely courteous service to everyone. Despite being alone, he was infectiously upbeat, and gave me a great example to live up to for the rest of my day. The food was also great.

It was prime time for lunch and they were very busy when we got there. The staff was very efficient and got the job done. We ordered our food online sitting in the restaurant and it was ready in about 10 mins. They called out our name and great food was delivered to our table. We love Whataburger ……it’s our very favorite place for a burger.

I bought 3 meals, 2 chicken ranch and a #1with extra pickles. The #1 was so dry I could only eat 1 side with the meat, NO extra pickles! No straws for drinks and rude worker when I asked for some. This is unexceptable when I was very polite and loved eating at Whataburger. Manager needs to have a meeting with the workers or something. I will not visit this Whataburger again until improvements are made!

I order off the app, add 10-15 minutes to what the app tells you. They’re not in a hurry, the term fast food eludes them. Don’t waste your time waiting for them to come to you in the parking lot, this franchise has clearly stopped coming to the customer. Just use the “Order Pickup” spots for parking, because that’s what they ignore.

Usually go through drive through and get sausage bob (breakfast on a bun), a little whataburger lingo there, but its great every time. When getting for the wife she always gets biscuits and gravy. The employees have always been friendly.

There were only three cars in the drive through. I ordered two large UNsweet teas. When I pulled up to the window this morning and paid the lady handed two smalls. I told her they were large (which I said multiple times before) and she looked at my card in her hand–just having swiped it. “Well it comes with small so…” and just stared at me. I ordered large. I would’ve paid extra for that but I decided whatever and let it go. I got to work and surprise surprise. The tea that was suppose to be UNSWEET was sweet. Guess the good thing here is that they gave me a small instead of a large because I poured it out. So aggregating.

The food was very good but the language of the cooks and preps in the back was bad. I do understand freedom of speech but when you have elderly couples and children in the lobby and tables we need to respect people dining, and the drink station was very messy and the seats where filthy. I love whataburger but I will probably never eat inside again.
