Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I ordered online and when I received my order, the bag and the contents were wet with soda and the seals to my food were broken. I contacted the location, knowing it was probably the fault of Favor, who they use to deliver their orders, but they completely blamed Favor. My issue is, TAKE RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU USE A SUBPAR DELIVERY SERVICE. I tried to contact the driver but they blamed the “girl at Whataburger” for my issue. This is the second time I’ve had issues at this restaurant- I will be letting others know about their lack of customer service and empathy.

I went to here to get my very first meal of the day. I have always loved whataburger but today was the last straw I will not be spending my money here again what’s the point when they screw up your order and i get charged for stuff you didn’t want.

I never got the food! Was trying to buy online but the app won’t let me but it took my order just for me to walk in and try to pay for it and the manager won’t let pay or order a new sandwich from them at all saying you have to pay online and when I explain everything to him.he said that he couldn’t help in anyway! So that day I went hungry because I only had a 30 minute lunch!

This place mess up my drive-through order which is fine. It happens all the time so I go home call them they say come back and get what you want. There’s no apology whatsoever I go back talk to the manager she says OK will fix it again nothing apologizing for making me come all the way back.

Customer service is trash. Chick at the window rang in my order wrong, when I went back around she had the audacity to ask me if I know the difference between a sandwich and a biscuit? Honey let’s not try the difference in our educations…

After dining in, having eaten the crispy spicy deluxe sandwich, next morning I experienced upset stomach, and uncontrollable diarrhea . I called and spoke to the Manager. Why did I eat it, I was very hungry, though the sandwich was mushy, not crispy. My bad that I ate it, against my better judgment. Manager assured me matter would be reported to Whataburger Corporate. Also, I advised Manager I observed two employees not washing their hands after eating their meal. They did not go into the restroom, only returning to their kitchen area. My family and I visit that restaurant a lot. Temporarily, we will not dine there for a period of time. Store: FM1960 E, Humble, Texas.

Their hashbrowns are consistently overcooked. Today we asked them to be replaced. They told us that they were coming out of the grease like that. I’ve had them fresh from this location before, but lately they seem to not care. The food is not fresh anymore and I probably will not purchase at this location anymore.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I used my 30 minute break to attempt to get lunch here only to have my order made wrong, and when I returned to explain the situation and asked for a refund due to no longer having time to eat having wasted my ENTIRE break between the drive thru and having to return to correct the order. A simple request turned into a ten minute ordeal, with me then being told I would get my money back to my card in 3 days. Understandable, given how banks work, but that was it. Little to no apology from the shift supervisor for the incorrect order, or having wasted my entire lunch break causing me to then not be able to eat across a 10 hour shift. And no movement or offer to rectify the situation past telling me how the refund policy worked. Truly admonishing that this is the kind of customer service they are allowing. I left with no food, less money than i had entered the establishment with, and little to no apology. Frustrated i called the number on the receipt and requested to speak to a manager. i again explained the situation in relation to how i had now wasted my break time, and i was now going to be reprimanded for being late back to worm because i was stuck dealing with this refund situation, and again was treated to awful customer service. the manager tried to explain how banks worked and why it would take a few days dor my money to be returned, to which i tried to explain the money wasnt the issue, but my time wasted and the complete lack of customer service i had dealt with. the manager only then offered a replacement meal, which i explained i would be unable to return to claim due to needing to be at work and did not address the customer service i dealt with. she had nothing further to say other than a small apology and to offer me a customer service number. its just shocking that two levels of management can drop the ball so hard when it comes to fixing an issue their kitchen made and dealing with a customer face to face in a way that makes the customer feel valued at the outcome. Cross your fingers they don’t mess something up, because they will make you go through hell to fix it
