Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I ordered a Jr burger and grill chicken sandwich. They charged me .70 cents for these slices of jalenpo. (I had eaten 2 slices before taking this picture) I ask the woman at the cashier why so little, she said normally it’s just three slices. Also, I don’t like that she is putting her hands on dirty money then go to the back to prepare my French fries without gloves on.

I would not go to this Whataburger at all if it wasn’t the closest location to my house sometimes I bypass it and go to South Main, which is a 15 minute drive the pictures below are the reason why these things happen often at this location food not fresh order is not made the way you ask for food old food cold they really outdid their self tonight though greasy dark brown onion rings, dark black grease at the bottom of the onion ring box because clearly the grease was old and burnt This was officially the last straw. I will never come to this location again..

Be are when paying and receiving your change. The dude at the window was acting weird after I gave him the exact change plus 20 for my order with 10 being owed back. He delayed giving me my 10 and stood at the register counting the 49 cents over and over like he was stalling. I’m looking directly at him the whole time. Since he being weird. Finally he grab the receipt no $10 and handed it to me I immediately said you owe me 10 he then said oh I forgot then walked off saying he can’t open the register. He then walked back over after my daughter (passenger) asked another employee for a manager. He came back to the window and took $10 in dolloar bills from his pocket and gave me my change. Also look at my receipt. He didn’t even put in I gave him $20 THIS DUDE TRIED TO KEEP MY CHANGE. He didn’t even put the right amount of money I gave him which was 20.49

If I was you I would just go to the next Whataburger, I dined this location frequent and they have issues for breakfast lunch and dinner with production. As an outsider perspective it might be due to the revolving door of employees over there caused by bad management. If you’re just by yourself and you come in for a Whataburger it’ll take you about 30 minutes to get out of there. The app needs a lot of work and barely communicates to the Whataburger’s correctly. There are still a good locations but this one is a waste of your time. I’ve yet to get a hot meal from this place even while waiting for a long time.

Never been to a Whataburger so slow, but at least food came out hot and fresh.
Update my burger came out cold, but my husband’s burger, fries and union rings came out hot. We paid for Ranch and didn’t receive it. Also note sodas were bland & flat.

i will say at one point my experience with this location was actually good….. Now to the present horrible service horrible staff the over night manager ” african guy” rude rude rude his staff on that shift a bunch of high teens who clearly don’t want to work rude n when you ask them something they just stare at you crazy. The only manger that seems to care is this lady she always apologizing which if she had a good crew she shouldn’t have to. Food comes out cold drinks flat they really need to do better

Saturday morning, Nov 8th was the day of my visit. I cannot imagine what life can be like for these young generation nowadays but when I say from the start of my order being taken to the time I received my order it was great. As I was waiting at the window I was taking a glance inside and I seen lots of motion in there. I seen the young man Jeremy making sodas, shakes all at once. I noticed a manager I believe it was since he was wearing a different uniform that was very hands on and being helpful. Despite of longer wait than usual, it was evident that they were working together and in a well environment.

Keiza at 10:45pm today was rude and we had a curbside order and she did not bring it out and when we went inside she didn’t greet us and my boyfriend kindly said i have a curbside order for john and she said “i know i know” and gave an ugly look when saying that. order was already ready all she did was bag it never brought it out and was rude . I understand people go through things in life but if your at work at least have a nice attitude.

My experience was horrible , don’t recommend this whataburger at all , white girl at the front is very rude , her name is Liza , she was making faces and was talking about the costumers , i sat and watched how she had a long line and was told by her manager to stay focus on her duty because she’ll wonder off talking with her friend with purple hair( black girl ). Purple hair girl would give off the orders and wouldn’t even kindly give you the food she would just toss it in the table as if she’s making us a favor of bringing it. Very rude staffs with no costumer service manners. Food shouldn’t take over 35 mins , it wasn’t even hot . They need to start firing ppl there .
