Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

So I’ve been eating at Whataburger for awhile now. I mainly go to the one in Roanoke, Texas. But I decided to go to this one several times. I feel like an idiot who was in an abusive relationship. This Whataburger has NEVER gotten my order correct. This last one has now forever burned me. So I asked for a #2 w/ cheese, no onions, w/ ketchup, w/ mustard, w/ mayo. I also asked for the burger and drink only. Not only was my burger not correct, but there was onions, no cheese, no condiment of any kind, was charged full price for the meal and got charged for a large drink and extra cheese that I didn’t ask for. I just wanted a medium drink, and they wouldn’t answer my phone call when I had called several times. Oh and the whole order took 35 minutes, and there was only 1 car beside me who ordered after I did. Couldn’t go back due to me cutting it close with work. I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND this Whataburger.

We neglected to get her name but watched an employee with an incredible work ethic while we were eating on 8/25 at 8:30pm. She worked the counter, cleaned the dining and drink area, delivered food inside and outside, emptied all the trash receptacles, and refilled the tea containers all while being quietly pleasant with customers. Seeing this young lady being so productive made this particular visit much better than some other locations.

Have seen better employees. They need to have an adult present to supervise these high school workers. They wait time was way longer than it needed to be and when ordering food to pickup, they left out an entire entree. Food is good as usual, but the service is awful.

We were just passing thru and stopped in. Even though it was morning rush, there was only one cashier. She was doing her job plus taking food to people already seated and doing online pickups. They sold my husband and another gentleman a large drink knowing they did not have large lids and then gave them a medium cup so they could have a lid and didn’t offer to refund the difference in cost. Made me wonder how many other people they did this too?! Change adds up when you have a few hundred customers come thru a day. Food took a while, which I understand it was morning rush, but it took longer then we would have expected. I know they were doing their best, hope they some help for times like this.

This place is not capable of giving you a large fry, it has happened every single time I’ve gone they only fill the carton with the same amount of fries you’d get in a small. Finally said something and asked to get an actual large and they handed me a bag of fries that werent even edible because of the amount of salt on them. Don’t waste your time here. Not to mention always takes way too long to get your food.

I was visiting from outside of california and this was my first time at Whataburger. And it was great! The food was good and service was amazing. Don’t understand where the bad reviews are coming from. Ron I’m guessing who is the manager is awesome. Service is perfect from him. Very friendly. Definitely coming back.
