Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I visited earlier this morning and just wanted to praise the customer service. I needed a quick snack, and the worker was very patient and accommodating. From the looks of it, it was just him and another employee; it was slightly busy, but they kept a good pace and maintained a good attitude. As a night owl, I’ll typically grab a bite after work. I’ve experienced poor customer service at this location in the past, so I’m glad to see there’s been an improvement.

This used to be my favorite Whataburger. Now, it’s my least. The last couple of times our order was wrong. Even after it was repeated back to me correctly. It wasn’t busy at all. Many of the workers were very unprofessional and disorganized. I strongly suggest they get new management. It was so much better about a year ago. It’s slowly running into the ground. I pray y’all make some changes for the better. Y’all are starting to lose business. Until then, I will not be coming back here, unfortunately.

The staff was very very friendly and helpful, probably the best Whataburger I have visited. Everything here was clean including the parking lot, dining area and restrooms. The staff came over multiple times to check on us to ensure we were satisfied. The food was fresh and the service was fast.

I absolutely love this location but that love also depends on which shift I get when I order my food. Last night after midnight I ordered some food. First go around food was not hot and fresh. The line was long so once I got to the window my food had been sitting there with the cashier getting cold. Cashier (Caucasian male with curly hair) seemed super friendly until I asked for my food to be remade. Didn’t seem happy that I wasn’t happy with my food. Whoever was cooking on the grill didn’t do a good job.. This shift cooked my food “twice” and I wasn’t happy with either orders. My patty was super flat which means I was handed a bread and veggie burger basically.. Day shift & early night crew are so much better than late night crew. Thank you day & early night shift for all that you do!

Well, I must say this has to be the worst Whataburger in this town. The sad part I live 1 mile from this location, and every time I try to give them a chance they failed
They made me wait almost 30 minutes and everything about my order. It was cold except the french fries. My wife worked all night and didn’t want to be bothered.
So we just excepted it
Whataburger is too expensive of a fast food place to do people like that I mean it actually sucked
So we always have to go up about 3 miles and go to that location
I don’t know what the hell man

The drive through is so ridiculously slow. I can go to a sit down restaurant and be served quicker. Unfortunately I drive to a location much to avoid long wait times. I’ve tried going in, but experienced the same issue.
