There’s a certain poetry to eating at a Waffle House late at night. Maybe it’s the hum of the fluorescent lights, the hiss of bacon on the grill, or the fact that every booth feels like a halfway stop between exhaustion and comfort. It’s not fine dining, but that’s the point, it’s Waffle House.
I ordered the classic, the namesake waffle. Golden, soft as a memory, dripping with butter and syrup that pools just enough to make you question your life choices and then not care. On the side, an omelet that was so fluffy it seemed to hover somewhere between breakfast and redemption.
There’s something deeply human about a place like this. The cook barks orders into the sizzle and steam like a drill sergeant in a grease-stained opera, the waitress knows everyone’s story, and the coffee tastes like it’s been waiting for you since 1978. Decadent? Maybe not. But satisfying? Absolutely. At midnight in a Waffle House, the world just makes sense again.

I just got the best Waffle House food I have ever had from this location. And the service I give a 10/10. They were so friendly and super fast. If all Waffle House establishments were as great as this one I would probably eat there waaaay more often.

Waffle House is famous for the good and the bad. My visit here was good, and it was a busy Sunday morning. My waitress was prompt and attentive, the restaurant was clean, and the staff worked well as a team. The food was prepared as I requested, hot, and reasonable. I especially enjoyed my waffle, crispy outside, soft and creamy inside. My bacon was crisp and the pieces are large, eggs perfect over-easy, and the hash browns were crispy and not oily.

The Waffle House is always great, especially if you’re in the mood for breakfast anytime of the day. I have never gotten food from this particular restaurant that I have not liked. The waffles of course are great! The customer service is awesome! I love this place and the small diner feel.

I had the BEST meal and service! Ordered eggs over easy, pork chops and a pecan waffle for dinner. The chops were tender and juicy. Eggs cooked perfectly. And the waffle was Amazing! This is the Go To comfort food cooked in front of you. They aren’t hiding anything! Best part was the humor and banter between the staff and with the “regulars”. The atmosphere is great at this location, very welcoming and friendly.

Waffle House (WH) new to-go fee!?!? WTH?
The first shift at this Waffle House has awesome cooks. Waitress kept drinks full and made sure our food was correct while doing all end of shift work. Made a To-go order and come to find out WH has new tickets with a place to add to-go fee twice! One spot for wait staff to add a fee for putting the order together and one spot for a fee for the plastic to-go plates. Our waitress didn’t add the fee because we ate in but warned us about the new ability.
Shame on ppl not tipping for to-go orders! That is why the have a fee now.
Shame on WH for adding to the ever increasing price!

I’ve ate at this Waffle House different times over the years. Store was nice & clean. Waitress nice. Check it out if you’re ever in the area, they serve breakfast all day long that’s what I love about the Waffle House.
