Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Love this place. Not only is the food fantastic, affordable, and the building in great shape/clean, but the staff are just a delight. I stop here once or twice a week around midnight after my shift for dinner and they always ask how the day was and make friendly small talk while serving. Absolutely adore this place and everyone that works the night shift here. Can’t recommend enough.

Really fantastic service here, and extremely clean. The burger was made carefully and superbly put together. Got stuck here due to ice, they were short staffed, but let me in to get a meal. Came through later and they made me a special request (my favorite whataburger the ‘monteray melt’).

The service was okay, but the burger had bitter cut up lettuce on it which makes the burger not taste good. They don’t use the best part of the lettuce, but the worst part of it, which is horrible tasting. For the cost of the burger all the vegetables on it should be fresh and not using the worst part of them that you would usually give to your pig’s for slop.

This place is horrible! 3 out of my last 4 visits my food has been wrong or missing. I tried to call the restaurant. They never answered the phone (literally cslled 25 times). I sent a message through their online portal. No one contacted me. I called their customer line and talked with someone. They will contact me in 3-5 business days. This is clearly not the same whataburger!
