Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

We had stopped coming to this location, despite living 2 miles away, because customer service and quality had deteriorated greatly. The last two times that we decided to give it a try, have been amazing! This location is cleaner than the new one down the road – even the restrooms. The customer service of the sweet girl who took our order and the one who delivered our food was amazing. No complaints with the food and timing of receiving our order either.

Kim was at drive thru. Very customer oriented and young man she work with. Been enjoying the food since 1975. My mother had a number 1 with mustard a coke and apple pie. Great customer service from Kim in drive thru and team.

While the service can be hit or miss, I’ve grown to like their food after a rather long period of not eating there since I’ve moved to Texas. Their fries are good and I also really like their chicken strips, which to me are on par with DQ’s strips. I also like the look of this location that faces the highway plus their orange esthetic looks nice. I don’t get to come out this direction often, but next time I do o will definitely consider eating here again. Hopefully next time they’ll cook the fries better when I order them since they are initially cold but thankfully they did give me hotter fries which tasted good.

Ive had multiple orders that were completely wrong and with missing items. My most recent order had only one item that was correct, but i was missing my fries and toppings on my sandwich. Idk what goes on here, but make sure to check your order before pulling away. You might get someone else’s order. Granted, i did order after 10 pm, but that doesnt change how i feel about this place.

Big shoutout to young gentleman Zachary, who was super friendly and welcoming. He took the time to walk me through the menu and made sure I felt right at home.
I went with a burger loaded with jalapeños ️, plus onion rings, fries, and a drink — and wow, it definitely lived up to the hype. Delicious, filling, and full of flavor. Totally worth the wait!

Man I love whataburger but I keep going to this location, ordering multiple taquitos, paying for all of them, then they give me less than I ordered. Like today, I paid for 5 taquitos and they gave me 2. Didn’t realize until I got home. I’d say this is the 3rd time it’s happened..

This is my 3rd visit to this location and I am very impressed with the service. Tonight I had a late night meal and Bella in the window greeted me with a smile and was very friendly. My fries were fresh, my burger was fresh, my sprite was crisp. I notified Alisa the manager of how well her shift was running and I appreciate it! Great job tonight night shift. I love good service and fresh food and you guys deserve the credit. Thank you!

The quality of food prep and packaging is at the all time worst. Workers at this location do not take pride their work not consider the fact others would like their food delivered and presented properly. The manager here has no standards nor is checking periodically to assure quality.
