Social Profile:

Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This was my first time trying Whataburger! I enjoyed it! I had the whataburger Jr, really liked it; the taste is different. The honey bbq wings were delicious too, although I found the sauce a little sweet. The staff were nice and helpful.

Terrible food & service. A man and woman were both working tonight after 11:00 PM. The man clearly did not want to be there and showed it. I ordered a burger through the drive-through, not a cheeseburger, and they added cheese for whatever reason. You have to pay extra for cheese, and I was not charged for a cheeseburger.

Annoying, but whatever. Mistakes happen. I took it back inside and informed the same guy who was at the drive through that it was wrong and he literally laughed and walked to the back, and the woman came out smiling also and asked what the issue was.

She went to make the new burger correctly, and 10 or 15 minutes later… They gave my order to the wrong person, someone in the drive through.

Another 10 or 15 minutes later, I finally get my corrected burger, take it home, and literally throw up after trying to eat it, I don’t know if something was bad, or tampered with, but something about the burger made me throw up.

This place is the worst, the people don’t care about anything, the food is awful. I love Whataburger, but this one is run like garbage.

I decided to try there breakfast. I ordered Biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns. I also got a sausage egg and cheese biscuit. The gravy was not edible. It was just like water with a funky smell. The egg on the biscuit sandwich was burned. The biscuits were decent but the Hashbrowns were smooshed. Very disappointing! Never again will order from that location.

I was very impressed by a young girl who made our day named Emilee. When our family first entered the dining room on a Saturday afternoon, she had the biggest smile and complimented my youngest daughter who had just had a difficult day. She was perfection in the sense that she waited on us (and others) hand and foot, didn’t let the busy crowd affect her accuracy, and made us feel like family. I kept asking myself if I was in a “fast food” restaurant because of her professionalism. She checked on us multiple times, took our finished plates and even offered my children crayons (which made it so me and my husband could have a quiet meal!). Her personality is top notch. We will be driving back to this location just for her next time!

Was my first time going here, and it was highly recommended from my business partner. We don’t have Whataburger in Ohio. Maybe because it was hyped up so much by my co-worker, but I didn’t think it was that special. Especially for the price it was just a regular fast food burger to me. We went back the next morning for the chicken butter biscuit, that was pretty good but it should be for the price. I would go back, but only for variety.

The service for this place is not good at all. My wife and I ordered a combo and kids meal. The fries were terrible. I tried to get fresh ones with no salt however they were salty then I received some very dark. Please do better with your service. This was the 3rd shift crew. I didn’t know that they served sweet potato fries.

I just wanted to shine some light on a very kind employee. A young lady who had the name “Peyton” on her name tag gave me the best service I can ask for. She constantly checked up on me and the others dining in and did it all with a smile on her face. You don’t see teenagers with a work ethic like this often. Spectacular food as well and came out in a flash!

Fire the whole morning crew I don’t know if it’s only them, but their service and level of competence is Insanely low! I’m guessing it’s not just them based on this stores overall rating replace the whole staff if it’s like that 24/7 and I’m not even joking.. LAZY doesn’t even begin to describe that morning crew one more mishap from them and I’m calling corporate And demanding an investigation!!!!!!

I placed my order no more than 15 minutes ago—a simple double cheeseburger meal—and added two regular fries. Somehow, the extra fries were forgotten. Yes, I should have checked the bag before leaving, and that part is on me. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. At some point, basic competency should be expected. I’ve given this place too many chances, and this will absolutely be my last visit.

The patty melt is delicious but the fries were not that fresh. Service was horrendous, no one appears to be trained..every one was nice but no one has any clue what’s going on. Our order was entered incorrectly and long wait times at night.
