Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Great experience. With the snow storm shutting most business the group of three working the day shift were amazing on February 1st. The young lady was extremely polite while juggling a line of cars and working with limited staff. Food was hot and amazing. Thank you for working as hard as yall did you deserve a bonus or something for going above and beyond.

The food was great. The burger meat tastes more fresh than 90% of fast food burgers. The toppings were great. The onion rings were delicious, crispy, and fresh. The “wings” were very good despite them looking like chicken nuggets in sauce.

It may take a minute or two to get your order but that’s because it’s made fresh to order. I love how easy it is to customize my order exactly how I want it. I’ve not had any problems at this location. Everyone is friendly and courteous.

Underrated fast food. I wish this was more popular. The Prickly Pear Whatafresh was great, highly impressed for being fast food. It was really easy to order with the kiosk inside.
Only downside was the (buffalo) wings were like chicken nuggets and not wings, still tasted good though .

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d live near a Whataburger. First and foremost y’all. It’s fast food. It’s good fast food though. Great service and overall rarely ever does it miss. Was ecstatic when I heard that we were getting one and my lord it was just as good as I remember. I’ve been a fan for years and couldn’t be happier we have one in the community.
Edit: As happy as I was to attend opening day. If you don’t have a little patience for new employees to work out the kinks. I would suggest waiting a week or to until they are running like a well oiled machine. Service was great but as expected on opening day there was tiny hiccups. Other than that. Amazing experience.

Went through the drive thru tonight to try my first burger from this establishment. I ordered the barbecue Chicken Strip sandwich on Texas toast. It was ok, felt like the sandwich needed to come with pickles or something else. I also had the double burger which was good. The fries were hot and tasty. The service was good also.

had two absolutely fantastic experiences at this Whataburger. as a North Carolina resident, I’m envious South Carolina has Whataburger, and it’s at the quality I know and love from Texas, Arizona, etc. Reyna was very helpful up front and helped us out with condiments and items both times. Connor helped with the dinner order and even checked the status update on our order, eventually bringing it out himself. the quality of the food was top notch as I had hoped, as it was my girlfriend’s first time having Whataburger and I was grateful she loved it. this location also has a 24 hour dining room which is increasingly rarer in Texas (where it used to be common), so that was a lovely surprise. the people of Irmo are very, very lucky to have this in their town.

Freshly opened and fairly busy. Out of common items at 1130am (onion rings and milkshakes) Burger was good, as were the fries. Staff was friendly and helpful. Even though busy, I received my food quickly and it was hot and fresh.
