Edit in response to owner reply: let’s say hypothetically you price your base hamburger at $15 and an upgraded version with different toppings is $18, but I can add bacon and substitute cheese on the $15 Burger and get it for $17 with the exact same toppings as the $18 one. That means your menu is not priced correctly. Food cost be damned. People shouldn’t be able to game your menu. That’s what I did on the first day your menu was dropped

First of all the bar tenders are great and I love them very much but this new manager in here is the wettest blanket I’ve ever seen. The new menu released today is atrocious. They have taken off a lot of really classic menu items and their daily specials were a main driving factor for me coming in. I can count on one finger full service bars that don’t have a Cesar salad on the menu and it’s this place. Soup and salad combo is gone and over half the sandwich options are gone as well.

Doing a chef’s special is a way to work through short dated product with creativity but now they do a weekly special and a lack luster happy hour. No more Mexi Monday.

I’ve designed and priced 3 menus in my career and this menu was not priced properly and left out vegetarian options that many people in this area really want. Emphasis on this last point. Vegetarian options are a must and they barely exist here

First time leaving a bad review. I’ve come here three times because I’d like to give every place a solid chance. The first two times, drinks were awful and watered down… literal soda water was added when they didn’t come with soda water. I love golden tee so I thought I’d try a third time and only get beer to play. My glass had something black in it but I just thought if I’ve already drank a good amount of it then it’s no big deal. Halfway through the golden tee game, it turned off on us. When we told the bartender, he told us that it wasn’t owned by the bar therefore there was nothing he could do. We asked if there was any way we could just get the money to finish our game and he said no and that again they had nothing to do with the machine before walking away. Didn’t love the attitude but I suppose he wasn’t straight up mean. After three tries, I just don’t think we’ll be coming back.

EDIT Original review below!!! Just walked into wetlands after my last experience. Emails between the owners them telling me to come back.

I walk into the bar today, had an even worse experience than the first which I didn’t think was possible!! I walk in, no problems. Everything is fine, this kind looking guy takes my order, pours me a beer, all is good until I go to grab my beer to which there are 3 female serves all standing there, all previously nice. This time was the complete opposite, Sam is there and she tells me that “because of my actions last time and the lies I told got a good employee fired” I am “86ed” and not allowed back. I reply with “what are you talking about, I was told to come back by management everything I wrote in my review is how I felt” “actions like that and the lies you told are exactly why you aren’t” was all she kept saying, frustrated at this point I tell them I was just trying to give them another chance and to just reverse the charge, during the reversal they refused to take any ownership for what happened last time and continued to blame me up until the end making me wish nobody has to deal with the service I’ve now had to deal with twice including telling me that I “bragged about not tipping” and “threatened to walk out without paying” The last two quotes coming directly from Sam are just blatant lies, I have never walked out without paying (considering I tap pay after every beer), and who would brag about not paying? The original point I was making is that the tip shouldn’t affect your service
. 0 deescalation during both visits and absolutely not professional at all. This is a bar everyone should avoid like the plague!

This place is an absolute joke. I’ve been coming to this bar for about a year and a half and havent had many if any problems till about within the last 6 months. Prices have gone up and service has gone down, it’s as simple as that. I even stopped tipping months back and noticed service change drastically. Regardless of all that I have still been coming here almost every day and haven’t had a problem until today. I walk in and get a beer, not much of a wait no problems there. It wasn’t until I went to get my second beer did I experience a huge problem. I walk over to the bar and set my glass down in the corner, I look at the guy bartender with longer hair and say “hey I’m going to get another beer” he looks at me then proceeds doing everything else (which I’ve noticed more and more often since I stopped tipping). I start to walk out frustrated by being ignored. That’s when a regular who hangs out with a bunch of the staff, says to me “maybe if you actually left a tip they would listen to you” implying he knows I haven’t been tipping and that’s why I am receiving a proper level of service. I argue back that just because someone doesn’t tip doesn’t mean they deserve less service to where the bartender who ignored me gets involved saying “I didn’t acknowledge you by talking or looking at you so i don’t know why you thought I was getting you a beer”. We both disagreed weather he looked right at me or not, either way in all the time that I have been coming to this bar I have never been treated this way and frankly I have never felt this way or had this bad of an experience leaving a bar ever. It sucks this location has some amazing staff I just don’t know how it got this bad.

This was an insane bar, I was going constantly and not just for drinks. The food was amazing, great flavor giant portions and a cheap price. Not one bad bar tender, this is one of the rarest spots were every bartender feels like family regardless of who is working. When they did baked goods they were phenomenal but unfortunately it seams the new manager has a different direction which has changed the experience significantly, all weekly specials such as Monday tacos or slider Thursdays have been discounted. Praying that the staff member weather this nasty storm until it passes and things revert back to how they were.

Hopefully the owner comes to his senses and realizes just how special the wetlands is from it’s employees to its customers before it’s gone.

Service was prompt at the noon hour. Sam was extremely helpful, outgoing and kind. I brought my elderly mother in hopes of getting a Cuban which I have been raving about only to find it is no longer available. Very disappointed. But, because of Sam and Autumn we chose to stay and order other items. Mom said she enjoyed the beef veg soup and wing special was as well. Bring back the Cuban Please.

We came here on a Sunday late morning to watch the Ravens vs. Bears NFL game and had the best time! Our bartender Sam was absolutely fantastic – she was runnin’ this place! All the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and on top of their game. The food and drinks were great and the atmosphere of mainly regulars was a very fun one to be a part of. Will absolutely come again!

I play pool here regularly. It’s already challenging enough to play without interruption of someone passing by to go out to the patio, but the large block box they just added in the middle of the already congested area for lottery is absolutely ridiculous! What the heck!?!?! It’s going to be even more congested and less enjoyable. Are they trying to squeeze out their pool playing patrons? I guess gambling is covering the bills? Priorities boys, priorities. I find it sad.

I went here with my daughter to have a drink and get a bite to eat. We played darts, but staff didn’t know where any chalk was, so they gave us paper. It was nice outside and we ordered some artichoke dip and sliders. The sliders were amazing and priced very favorably. There were Bud Light and Patron reps there so that was fun.

I’m sorry to have to leave this but I hope they take action. I’ve been going on & off for 2-3 years and the draft beer is gross. It’s flat and always tastes like soap. There is definitely something wrong with their kegs/drafts. I hope they fix it as I like the bar but I can’t deal with the gross tasting beer

My husband and I went yesterday afternoon for a MASA presentation. I did not get what I ordered, but decided to make the best of it considering the situation. The food was cold, the tacos contained only 2 tablespoons of ground beef along with a sprinkling of tomatoes, the cheese at one time had been melted but was now hard and congealed. I could have gotten a better taco at Taco Bell. To top it off, today I’m dealing with severe gastric issues. You’d think Wetlands would have taken the opportunity to win over new customers, but as it turns out we will never be going back.
