We stopped here one evening while on a long road trip. We wanted steaks, however they were all listed at MV (market value) meaning to us – way too expensive. So we opted for a chicken salad and a spaghetti dinner. The portions are LARGE and the food is good. I did find that the pasta is overcooked and not served al dente which was disappointing. The service is good.

Got a Caribbean margarita that was tiny, super sweet no hint of tequila. Server never asked if we wanted Texas toast. Never been here before to know it was an option but saw everyone else get both rolls and Texas toast. Ordered the Austin sirloin steak, looked and felt small. The potato was huge. The decor was off setting. Heard good things about this place but very disappointing.

Stopped here by chance on the way back to Pittsburgh coming from Indianapolis. The food was exceptional! Some of the best Loaded Potato Skins I’ve ever had—that I didn’t make myself—an onion bloom that was done to perfection, and Red Jalapeño Poppers that were maybe the best I ever had. On top of that I had the West Texas Filly, which was divine, along with beer battered fries that were very tasty. The server was wonderful as well, and with a decent tip I got out for a price I felt was quite reasonable! Would recommend!

We really enjoyed our dinner here at West Texas roadhouse! Even though I’m usually a vegetarian, I treated myself to a petite fillet and was not disappointed! This fillet was so tender I could’ve cut it with a fork. My partner got the grilled prime rib, which was deliciously seasoned. All of the staff was super friendly, and our waitress Danielle was amazing! We will definitely stop by again while we’re in the area.

My father in law was looking for a Texas Roadhouse but we found this place, instead. Not sad about it at all! This place was a great mix of dive bar and steakhouse. My sirloin was fantastic, as were the fries. The dinner salad was huge. The Texas toast and rolls were also very good. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. I would be a regular here if I lived in the area.

Our server Renee was excellent, she provided a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere. The portions are large, and the food we got tasted amazing. Especially the tater skins, and they were massive! It has a laid back rustic steakhouse vibe, but that doesn’t mean the steaks arent on par with high end places. We got the prime rib and a ribeye, they were both incredible.

Hadn’t been to West Texas in ages and decided to give a try. Donna, our waitperson, gave great recommendations and told us of an appetizer special. The baked cod was the best I’ve had and I heard the salmon was perfect. The sides were fresh and very good. The hot homemade rolls were a special touch. No room for dessert, but the choices sounded decadent. No pictures, but believe me-everything was great-including Donna:)

The texas blossom was light and flavorful, the salmon with the bourbon glaze was excellent, everything was seasoned great and the service was awesome! Great food <3 Their Strawberry Shortcake drink was the bomb.
