am extremely disappointed and concerned about my experience with this Wendy’s location (1190 Terry Pkwy, Gretna). I ordered through DoorDash on February 1, 2026, and when the food arrived, there were immediate issues.
The food appeared unsafe for consumption, and I discovered a black hair in the food. Unfortunately, my 6-year-old child had already taken a bite before I realized there was a problem, which is extremely alarming as a parent. The food was not eaten beyond that point.
In addition to the food safety concern, an item from my order (a Frosty) was missing. I contacted DoorDash and Wendy’s corporate, but the resolution offered did not reflect the seriousness of a food safety issue involving a child.
I have since contacted Wendy’s corporate and filed a complaint with the health department. I am sharing this review to make other families aware. Food safety and order accuracy should be taken far more seriously, especially when children are involved.

Place just does not meet Wendy’s standards. Took forever to get waited in inside. They were tending to drive thru exclusively.
We were the only ones inside ordering too.
No ice in drink machine. No ketchup in dispenser.
Clean dining area though.

Terrible terrible terrible. If you go here, do not pay with card. I paid with card, they told me they didn’t have items I ordered (after running my card already) and refused to return the funds to my card. They told me cash only for refund. They took 10 minutes to bring me cash in the wrong amount. No receipt or anything. I was really sketched out and frustrated and just left after giving them their cash. I am now having to dispute the charge for food I never recieved.

I live very close to this Wendy’s but always find myself driving to Algiers since this one never has anything I try to order and the customer service is horrible. On the off chance that I haven’t been to this one in a year, I decided to grab breakfast this morning. 5/27/24. No receipt. Waited for 10 minutes for fresh potato wedges. Raw or left out soggy biscuit? Couldn’t tell since it all mashed together like raw dough would. Chicken was hard as a rock. I’m not sure how this place is still open with no change over the last 3 years.

Waited 10 minutes for these people to take the order of the ONE CAR in front of us. Then waited 15 minutes before I drove off because nobody ever came back to take my order.

The food was terrible! It was burnt and tasted awful. Additionally, they didn’t provide any ice, and I realized I didn’t receive a receipt. Wendy’s, you’re slipping big time.

I don’t go to fast food restaurants expecting a great experience, but was still disappointed. The only positive is that the employees were friendly, however this location needs better management. During non peak hours, my order took 11 minutes to come out. A large amount of drink selections in the coke machine were unavailable while others were flat. Tables were empty, but not sufficiently cleaned. Better management could improve all issues.

The drink came with a coffee cup lid. Guess they were out of lids too.
Got two salads (because they were out of fries). No forks, no napkins, one dressing. Guess they were out of those too!
