Terrible experience at the Wendy’s on Washington Street East in Charleston, WV. I was the only person in the lobby and still waited over 15 minutes just to be acknowledged and have my order taken. I was there with my hungry 2-year-old and 6-year-old, yet staff showed zero urgency. The excuse was that the drive-thru was busy. It was not that busy.
They also couldn’t make change for cash, and when I asked where the manager was he replied “back there”.
To make things worse, I watched the employee working fries stick his finger in a cup of whipped cream and lick it, which was completely unsanitary. After ordering, it took another 10 minutes for nuggets and fries, 5 more minutes for a junior Frosty, and one Frosty was forgotten until I reminded them.
After the crew member poured my moms coffee he stated, “see if its cold, its been sitting there all day”. Needless to say, she requested a new pot be made and then had to wait even longer. From the time we ordered until she got her coffee, it took almost 30 minutes.
The pictures attached show exactly why the employees were not prepared for business.
Unacceptable service, no management presence, and serious cleanliness concerns. Will not return and will avoid this location at all cost.

My regular Wendy’s stop when I need my Wendy’s fix is the Dunbar, WV location. They’ve never failed to come close to the ad photos. Service is good. They usually have some good deals if you’re on a budget.

So normally I’m a huge Wendy’s fan but I’m very disappointed with my order tonight I got two things of cheese fries both look like the picture. Normally would be fine but I paid extra to get extra shredded cheese and extra to get extra of the liquid cheese on both order of fries. There was no extra on either and no cheese sauce it looks like a slice of cheese was slapped on and melted. Mind you I’m pregnant and pissed now and will be taking me business to a farther distance Wendy’s so when I pay for extra I may actually get it $12 for cheese fries with no extra cheese is ridiculous.

The new English muffins were a good choice. We wished the part were a bit bigger. They were still tasty. The Service was outstanding. The little nook eating area is a good place to see the shops and traffic.

Ordered through the drive thru. No straws, 2 meals and only 1 napkin and no sauce at all for the nuggets! Food wasn’t hot! Mediocre would be an upscale review! Don’t waste your money!

Went through drive through tonight and ordered a burger, fries and chili. We’re out of American cheese, we’re out of spoons, we’re out of crackers. Since there was no ketchup, hot sauce or napkins in the bag and no receipt. I’m assuming they’re out of those too. Someone needs fired for letting things run out and not restocking.

I usually stop here for late dinner and have a terrible experience so much that I drive across town to a different location. Today was different and went well everybody seemed nice. I think the later shift at this location needs replaced.
