For the longest time I’d drive past and see the sign that appeared to just say Restaurant and say I should go to Restaurant and try food and say hi to waitress. Tonight my girlfriend and I finally stopped in and the whole experience was lovely and felt like the perfect cozy place to sit and enjoy a meal and each other’s company. I ordered the western burger which was juicy and perfectly topped with BBQ sauce, pickle, bacon, tomato, and lettuce. My girlfriend had the most tender liver and onions I have ever seen in my life to where I was wondering if I should have ordered it myself. We did start with an appetizer of the onion rings. The rings were perfectly breaded, had no excess oil anywhere to be found and had a crisp audible crunch every time you bit into them. Add to this experience a quiet dining area with a well varied soup and salad bar which I was glad to see had pickled beets which are a personal favorite and that the staff are very on top of refills of your beverages and making sure you have all you need. The meal was well worth the trip and we will be back.

Always love visiting the Welcome Inn in Milan! Casual, affordable, plates piled high, big menu, full bar all day, friendly servers. Hard to beat!

I attended a 60th birthday party, in which the Restaurant allowed to occur. Service was great. Prices are reasonable. There is a Soup & Salad Bar, included with Entrees.

We have been going to this restaurant for years. Tonight we met family that was back in town after being at a hot baseball game. We weren’t super hungry from being at the ball field all day but wanted to see family that was back. Everyone ordered food they got to us (me and 3 kids 12-13) so to big for kids meal, but dont eat an adult meal. 2 of the kids wanted to share a chicken Alfredo meal, my son wanted ribs but knew he couldn’t eat a half rack. So I said that’s fine I will piece off your ribs as I’m not real hungry. Got told from the waitress we can’t share food. I asked to speak to owner whom I have known all these years and she said the 2 kids could share the Alfredo but they couldn’t have salad bar (Salad bar is included in price). However I could not share ribs with my son. So I said I just wouldn’t eat. I didn’t touch one thing, and will honestly say I will never go back. They have lost our business. I constantly recommend them, but will no longer. We have had family gathering there but will no longer. The dictate what you can and can not eat. I was not gonna eat any salad, I was only going to eat 2 ribs of my sons. I didn’t eat nothing so they couldn’t charge us more.

The owner came to the table as I was emtying my plates into my ONE togo container. I had leftover salad from the salad bar and was told I could not take it. In my 55 years I have NEVER been told I couldnt take food that was ON THE TABLE home with me. And since I’m here, they need to season the steak.

This is your average family run diner. There is ample seating available and it’s a seat yourself restaurant. The food is very good and the french fries are outstanding. The price of the dishes seem to be really high to me though. All you can eat chicken strips cost $22 and a grilled cheese sandwich (no fries) is $12!

Ah-mazing prime rib dinner for an Amazing price!
The salad bar is excellent!
Service was good and atmosphere is nice.
Restroom could be kept a lot cleaner but that’s the only negative here.

Best Fish Fry Ever.

That’s it. That’s the review. The rest is just details. The fish fry is fantastic. The salad bar is sub-par, but who cares? Good service. When I am craving a great fish and fries, this is where I go. Incredible value with the all-you-can-eat option.

Family member hosted a birthday dinner here, my partner and I sat down and ordered fried pickles, Alfredo, and Salmon dinner. Pickles weren’t bad but they wouldn’t substitute broccoli and a baked potato for French fries because “that’s what normally comes with it” and the Alfredo tasted like if I drank water that had paper dissolve in it. Got told the bill would be lowered for the Alfredo but they wouldn’t take it back because the cook would come out yelling and they didn’t want to deal with that so she offered to lower the bill… we got the bill it was 60$ and some change and none of the prices got changed. 3 people invited to the party got it and all 3 of them did not eat more then 2 bites because it was nasty.
Don’t recommend, overpriced for nasty food. I’ve had better microwave Alfredo bought from the Walmart than the slop they served here.
